Every dollar you spend at the A-Town Hostel supports the camp and sustainable energy projects throughout Arusha’s community. You can make an even larger impact by volunteering at one of our partner NGO's, or heading your own clean energy project.

Arusha, Tanzania(dubbed “A-Town”), is centrally located near some of Eastern Africa's greatest tourist destinations: the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Mt Kilimanjaro, Arusha National Park, and Mount Meru. No matter what you want out of your trip to Tanzania, we can make it happen.

Lodging fees are donations to the Sun Strides Foundation and clean, renewable energy projects for the local community.

* Stay in Arusha, Tanzania and support local energy projects while you sleep.

* Pay in $8 USD(or $10,000 Tsh) per night. Lodging fees are donations to the Sun Strides Foundation, providing clean, safe energy for the local community.

* Great alternative to a backpackers or homestay. Linens and towel provided. Family style meals, volunteer experiences, and excursions are available.

* Located in Ngulelo, just minutes from the main road in Arusha, Tanzania.
