About us
Are you looking for a cheap and safe place to live with a homey atmosphere? Then The White House is the place for you! Whether you’re travelling alone, in a group or with your special someone, we can provide you with rooms that will fit your situation. If you stay with us you will be provided with three meals every day cooked by our excellent local chef, who both cooks local Tanzanian food and European food – we’re trying not to brag about our chef, but he is the best!

Accommodation
We can offer you both single rooms, dorms with bunk beds and doublerooms with a double bed. The rooms are big, and also contain closets or shelves for you to put your clothes on. All our rooms have private bathrooms and our toilet facilities in The White House are of European standard, there is hot showers and towels are provided included in your room prices.

Services and activities
We have plenty of common area and it's all up to you to choose where you think is a spot for you. In our hostel you will find a room for board games where you get to play with your new friends or your family if your traveling as family. Apart from that we have a nice garden where is a good place in those days where the sun is hotter. We have our secret backyard where you will find our bar and place where we always get together and have our meals together. Join us!

Surroundings
The White House is located in a part of Arusha called Njiro, just 15 minutes outside of the city center. It is located just 5-10 minutes on foot from Njiro Complex, where you will find restaurants, cinema, fitness, AMT's, supermarket and many more shops. Besides this, the house is located only 10 minutes walk from the main road from where you can catch either a bus or a taxi to the town center.
