One of the last truly family run hotels, with high standards, and excellent service, that I have vidisited in Venice. The Hotel has hard working and charming staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and quiet with old world charm, and the position of the Hotel was ideal for all my needs during my recent stay in Venice. My highest recommendations for this Hotel; I much enjoyed staying there, again, having last visited in Summer 2017.

I am very satisfied from Minerva and Nettuno in Venice and i'll recommend this to my friends.
Tetiana, Ukraine - Apr 09, 2019
MINERVA AND NETTUNO hotyel in Venice is a nice place to stay for a few days , especially in a spring time - it's a clean enough and warm place full of fresh air.
It's not like lux hotel but it's kind of antique a little bit, that was nice.
Thank s for a nice stay, I would stay there again.

Awful experience. We stayed 2 nights, I was traveling with my parents, they are 72. Guy in the front desk said "tomorrow breakfast at 8 am", next day he said “there is no breakfast”, didn’t gave any explanation, said was giving a refund of 2 euros for breakfast (only 2 euros!) and he didn't! Worst of all, there was not HOT water. I told him about it at 8 am when we were leaving (to find breakfast somewhere else…) he said he will fixed it. When we came back at 4 pm, it was not working, I told him again and he got really upset, and said “it will be fixed in 2 hours”. At 7pm when I asked him for the third time, he started to yell at me, that he didn’t care, that he couldn’t leave the reception open without no one, and raising his hands like crazy. I was really scared, I even thought he was going to hit me... He stood up abruptly and threatened me that if something happened to the reception while he was gone, he was going to charge me. At the end he said “it’s fixed” but there was not hot water!

The shower was cold and the personal was not very friendly.

Booked a room with ensuite. Small but very clean, near to the station.
maria, Australia - Sep 16, 2018
The hotel front desk day staff not helpful and had their noses in the air because they were Venetian snd did not see themselves as Italian. They should not have front desk jobs as their attitude towards hotel guests was very poor. We also noticed how they spoke to others when we were waiting one day.
Our room was very small for 4 people and it is not recommended. We had to climb over beds to get out of bed and jump over our suitcases st the end of the beds when going to the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower were poor and the water temperature was lukewarm.
Overall we had a very bad experience at this hotel.

I spent 4 nights. Very good location near the Station. Small room but very clean and quiet, with shower, very hot water, toilet, all very clean. Would come again.

The hotel offers really good value for money. For the little amount of money we paid (for Venice it is a very low price), we even got breakfast at the hotel! We are completely satisfied with our stay at Minerva and Nettuno Hotel.
anonymous, USA - Apr 02, 2018
We stayed at the Hotel Minerva and Nettuno in Venice. Convenient to train station, water taxis and vaporetto stop but can be noisy if you have a room facing the street.

very nice hostel/hotel 1 star
location is super
breakfast is ok
JENN HAUR, Malaysia - Aug 16, 2017
Location is great with lots of eateries nearby. Room with balcony. Just need to take note as the free breakfast offered need to double confirm when you booked. I booked from their website saying that free breakfast included but when I checked in, they said it is not included. So there is no proof that they offer you free breakfast even though their website mentioned there is free breakfast.

There were lots of bugs (mosquitoes and what looked like small cockroaches). The room had a strange smell and the AC did not work very well. The toilet was always clogged and the bathroom light flickered. This hotel was significantly cheaper than others but I think it's worth spending a little more money on a nicer accommodation.
anonymous, Mexico - Aug 13, 2017
The staff was mean, I requested for an air conditioning (in the reservation they write "Air conditioning (supplement of the 10% of the cost per day)") and they told me I was paying the "cheapest room in the hotel" and that service was not available for me. Their attitude was aimed to shame me for picking the standard room. We didn't have hot water nor wifi. We told the staff and they told us that everything was working fine. Nevertheless we never had wifi and had to shower with cold water. At the end, the manager gave us 10€ to stop complaining because there were other guests... Horrible experience, never coming back.

Very close to train station and waterbus station. Staff sometimes rude, we were told not to eat in our room, which is weird. Our room type is private room with shared bathroom. The room has no air conditioner, only a fan which doesn't work very well. Very noisy at night and in the morning due to the crowd downstairs. Shared bathroom is clean but small.
Peter, Italy - Jul 09, 2017
Great little hotel close to the station
It's a little bit hard to find but iyou look for it

Very convenient to train station and cruise ships. Nice breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Best location for a fair price
Steve, USA - May 30, 2017
I would have no idea what the hotel is like. We had a reservation and when we got there we were taken to another hotel where we were given directions to an apartment. If I had wanted to stay in an apartment I would have booked one directly. I would NOT recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It cost us our tour of Venice.

Best Budget hotel Ever best location note more then 2 minutes walk from Venice train station, so very convenient to go around the City Clean simple room, simple breakfast

anonymous, Canada - Aug 31, 2016
Wifi was limited. They gave us wifi login sheets and it would expire after a couple of hours.
anonymous, Germany - Aug 30, 2016
Very Good Location in The Heart of the City center near the Train station Santa Lucia offer clean caratterstics rooms if you are in Budget this is the place in Venice
Natalia, Russia - Aug 29, 2016
Great hotel in an historical building near the railway/bus stations - about 5 minutes walking. Very clean, comfortable room. Tasty breakfast.
anonymous, Spain - Aug 14, 2016
It is good for the price, really close to the train station. Bathrooms clean. Staff a little rude.
anonymous, Canada - Jul 18, 2016
Our only complaint was that the Air Conditioning that was advertised was pretty close to non existent. Although there was a unit in the room it failed to emit much cool air. As a result, we had a pretty uncomfortable night. When I mentioned it to the front desk, he reassured me that it was working... Apart from that, it was quiet, clean and had a great breakfast included.
anonymous, South Korea - Jul 18, 2016
The host was not kind. Every time we asked to open the door, the host didn't hide his tiredness
Sergio, Spain - May 28, 2016
Althought it is good, more type of food for breakfast would be welcome. Staff kindness excelent. Thanks
MELISA, Argentina - May 27, 2016
The hotel is really nice, the room was big and comfortable. The staff was helpful, specially Magdalena, who was lovely to us. The location is convenient if you have to catch the train, and if not Venice is pretty small so everything is in walking distance. The price is unbeatable, you won´t find this price/quality ratio anywhere else in Venice, maybe in Mestre, but it is not the same! Definitely would come back to this hotel!
Jakub, Czech Republic - May 16, 2016
Nice, clean, everyday changed sheets and towels. The only thimg was, that our window was situated on the main street and rumor from outside was very loud.
anonymous, Ukraine - May 12, 2016
The hotel is good value for the money paid. The price was one of the cheapest but the location is very good, and it has enough facilities to stay there for 1-2 days. There was no iron, and the wi-fi didn't work. Free breakfasts for booking on their website.

The hotel is correct for its price, clean, good location but nothing is included (breakfast, air conditioning or private bathroom). So careful with the room you choose!
Evgeniia, Finland - Jul 22, 2015
Really, I was so much surprised for such a good hotel with clean rooms and bathroom, friendly staff and exellent location for such a chip price! Thank you a lot!
anna, Sweden - Jul 20, 2015
It was the perfect location. Didn't get any information when we arrived at the hotel, nothing about breakfast and so on, would have been nice to feel more welcomed. The beds was not comfortable at all.
Hubert, Netherlands - May 20, 2015
Nice hotel near trainstation. Our room was good, with a balcony. We had to share toilet and shower, but that was no problem, because it was quite clean. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, this hotel is perfect!
Karin, Sweden - Apr 28, 2015
Apartments in a sort of schabby backyardshouse, but once inside, the apartments are really clean, simple and with new bathroom and kitchen.
For us, or anybody, who need sleepingplace for more than two person it is really good with plenty of room to unfold the bedsofa in a separate area. The beds are comfortable. Location also good if you like the busy streetlife of Naviglio.
anonymous, Germany - Apr 16, 2015
The location couldn't be better and the staff is really cool. It is noisy, you could hear when the other guest went across the hall, but for the price and location I can't think about a better option. Our kids enjoyed the stay. As negative I would point out the coffee (if you take breakfast there), I didn't like it at all, but two minutes walk you get plenty of places where you can enjoy real coffee.

very usefull locstion
Heinrich, South Africa - Oct 17, 2014
Great location. No steps to third floor, but the staff's helpfulness makes up for this.
A Bit difficult to find as sign/name of hotel is a bit hidden.
Great for short stay in Venice!

Excellent location and locality! Highly recommended for a true venetian experience.
anonymous, Singapore - Jun 09, 2014
Great location and very near to St. Lucia station. A very nice walk through the cobbled streets of Venice to reach St Mark's square.
anonymous, USA - Oct 30, 2013
We were given the topmost floor. There shld be a lift, at least, even just for the luggage or porter.
anonymous, Canada - Oct 24, 2013
We were upgraded to bb ca'pier, a sister hotel. The location was great, building was beautiful, but we were completely alone and had to call each time we had a request. We couldn't use the room phone because we couldn't get it to work. Great hotel for privacy, not great for service. Ask for separate wifi passwords for each device you bring too!
