Every time you go to Milan you always think to the Duomo, to the hours that you will spend to shopping at Gallerie Vittorio Emanuele, to the aperitifs in Navigli, the Brera Art Gallery and much more, but not everyone knows that there are also other places interesting to visit in Milan, such as some special museums that we are going to propose and maybe inspire you for your next trip!

If yor're looking on where to stay in Milan, here are our suggestions: Top 5 hostels in Milan according to costumers

1. INTERACTIVE MUSEUM OF CINEMA

The Tobacco Factory is the current headquarters of this Interactive Museum of Cinema, in Viale Fulvio Testi, here you will find over 20,000 films ranging from silent film to today's cinema, with 15,000 original advertising posters, there are even a few specimens machinery used in the cinema of the past.

2. MUSEUM HOUSE OF ALESSANDRO MANZONI

All of us have read the Betrothed, a little reluctantly because of the school, a bit of our initiative once we became older, but perhaps none of us even thought that there is the house of its author. The Museum House of Alessandro Manzoni is located in Via Gerolamo Morone, a Via Manzoni side (even if on purpose!).

3. MUNICIPAL AQUARIUM OF MILAN

Did you know that there was an aquarium in Milan? Sure, it's definitely not as big as the one in Genoa, Lisbon or Valencia, but there is. It is located within the Parco Sempione, in a Liberty style building. Did you know that there is also a library specialized in books on marine biology and aquatic sciences?

4. MUSEUM OF TYPEWRITER

Small, but it's there too: a small museum of the typewriter! In Via Menabrea 10 there are about 500, including the one that belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph, which dates back to 800.
