Paris is certainly one of the most frequented destinations in Europe, if not of the world, since it is famous to be the most romantic city, but often you walk on its "rue" looking for its main attractions, even without thinking if there is something else to see, that is not the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre. But there are hidden corners of the details that are not noticed, here are 5 things you might not know about Paris ... or maybe yes?

1. THE MUSEUM OF THE SEWER

Museum which in French is called Musée des Égouts de Paris. Yes, there are not only the catacombs, but also a real tour of the sewers, which is accessed via a manhole in front of the 93 d'Orsay.

2. SHAKESPEARE AND COMPANY

A very special library, famous for being the meeting point of writers like Hemingway and Ezra Pound.

3. THE ROCK OF THE WITCH

In the Montmartre district, here is something truly unique: a rock, called the Rocher de la Sorciere, precisely Rock Witch's, because of a legend that told that behind this rock stood the house of a witch (lady that for her appearance and her habits were so named by the children)

4. THE SMALLER HOUSE OF PARIS

As in Amsterdam there is the narrowest house, in Paris there is the smaller house, which is in fact a former storage room of 8 square meters, and blends perfectly with the buildings alongside. Crazy huh?

5. THE TOWER OF SAN GIACOMO

Basically it is a bell tower, the last witness of the church built by Charlemagne and today a World Heritage Site, considered one of the milestones that would complement the Road of Santiago de Compostela.
