Australia is massive, really, it would take months to see only a good part of it, because even if most of the Australian population lives along the coast, there is a whole world to discover in the Outback.

Being extremely improbable to be able to visit it all during the same trip, we can perhaps help you in prioritizing your destination choice with these 14 must-see things in Australia.

1. SYDNEY AND THE BLUE MOUNTAINS

If you travel to Australia you cannot but visit Sydney, modern and welcoming, with the amazing Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, that can be climbed up thanks to some stairs running along it.

2. PERTH AND THE PINNACLES DESERT

A city with a perfect climate, basically all year around, and only a 2-hour drive to the marvellous Desert of Pinnacles, featuring several "pinnacles”, calcareous rocks, spread throughout the desert

3. ALICE SPRING AND THE ULURU

In Central Australia, known as  Outback, you find the Uluru, the monolith sacred to the aboriginal community, it's definitely a must see but, be careful, you can't climb it up!

4. SURFER PARADISE

If you are planning to go surfing, you can't miss out this paradise for surfers (in the true sense of the word!), one of the most sought destinations for surf lovers and also for those looking for a place where to have fun!

5. KAKADU NATIONAL PARK

Included in the Human Heritage list, this park hides some natural wonders it is hard to believe it, including 2 different (but both beautiful) waterfalls: Jim Jim and Twin Falls. It's only 3 hours from Darwin.

6. WAVE ROCK

You might not know it, but close to the city of Hyden, you find a rock shaped like a wave. This is a granite rock and its peculiar shape is a consequence of the water and wind erosion. If you can't surf, you can always take a photo snap here and pretend you did it on a rock!
