Lisbon is a thousand-color city, the walls of the houses illuminate the neighborhoods, the narrow streets and uphill reinforce the knees of those who live and those who are passing, the smell of cod is confused in the 365 recipes to cook it, Lisbon is a city to live, more than to visit.

Reasons to love a city like Lisbon are in every corner, starting with its charming and historic streetcar 28, which aboard its yellow carriage brings you to see the city in a particular way, but we have thought to list at least another 6 ... here they are!

YOU FEEL HOME

The welcome is home to Lisbon, but being a seaside town, there is not much to be surprised, used for centuries to trade with other nations. In Lisbon you will feel immediately welcome, the homesickness will not make it difficult to feel it, so there is also the risk that you can postpone your return. To many this had happened!

IT'S A SUNNY CITY

Lisbon is one of Europe's cities where the sun is present most days of the year, in winter the temperatures never reach zero degrees and in summer the ocean thinks of mitigating the hot days. Lisbon is the city with the perfect climate.

GOOD FOOD

In addition to the aforementioned 356 recipes on cod, we can not mention the desserts of Lisbon in the area, such as the famous pastel de nata (pastry and cream), travesseiros de Sintra (pasta filled with egg yolk and almond) and the Queijadas (cheese pastries) ... all big sins of throat!

BARRIO ANTIGUO IS SOMETHING YOU CAN'T FORGET

The old barrio, Alfama, is unique in its kind, in addition to being the oldest neighborhood in the city and perhaps even the most striking. Its name comes from Arabic and means "fountains" or "baths", its streets are characterized by the many colorful azulejos, ceramic tiles all decorated.

This neighborhood is the poor district of the city, an ancient area of hustlers, where the local fado plays typical Portuguese music, where the voice is accompanied by guitar.

IT'S ECONOMIC

Lisbon, like all Portugal, is an economical city, is well connected by low cost airlines and in addition, there are plenty of low-cost accommodation, especially really beautiful hostels with pool!
