We thought to make a list here with some suggestions to become a perfect backpacker, especially if you have recently embraced this philosophy and you're passionate.
1. TRAVEL LIGHT
The backpacker is a traveler with a backpack in quite itinerant, which is difficult to stop at a single stage, usually his journey involves several places to visit, so it is important to travel light. Remember that you will need to carry the backpack over your shoulder and, therefore, try to not fill it too much and risk a severe back pain.
2. STAY IN HOSTELS
Hostels are the choice accommodation for the backpackers and not just because they cost less allowing you to save a bit, but also because they are the places where it is easy to meet new people and where to meet people to share thoughts, travels and experiences.

3. EAT THE TYPICAL FOOD
Do not be afraid to taste the food of the place you visit, the food is an integral part of the culture of a country, to understand it, you must also taste the dishes.
Of course, the hostels have a kitchen and help you save on your budget, but you can always try some typical street food, to not spend too much going to eat in a restaurant.
4. LEARN A FEW WORDS IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE PLACE YOU VISIT
If you travel alone, it'll definitely happen sometime during your journey where you will need to ask for help, perhaps for the simple directions, in these cases, knowing a few words in the local language is always handy, it is also a way to get even closer to the local culture.

Do not underestimate the importance of having comfortable clothes with you. If you really want to take some clothes for a night out, a pair of good shoes, you can do it, but no more than that. Having comfortable clothes means you can explore the world without much thoughts, adapt to any situation, without having to feel forced into a pair of fashionable jeans.
6. PRINT YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Advice that all travelers would give you: Print your travel documents. You can always keep a copy in your cellphone, but having a paper copy for security is always good, specially in your travel document.
7. PLACE A BUDGET BUT WITH SOME LIMITS
Before leaving think of a budget to be dedicated to the trip, then, add to it something extra. Trips are adventures, you never know what could will happen, could it all go smoothly, but it could also happen the opposite and run into any inconvenience and if this means using your wallets, have a limit on the budget is a nostrum.
