B&B's (Bed and Breakfast)

B&B’s are usually located in someone’s house and usually offer a limited number of rooms; they provide a “home away from home” atmosphere and breakfast service is available.

Campsites

Campsites can provide either rooms, beds in bungalows and camping gear as well: alternatively you can also bring your own tent and you will be allocated a tent pitch. Campsites are sometimes the cheapest available accommodation option and are usually located outside city centres in green areas. Don’t forget to bring your own sleeping bag.

Apartments

Some travellers opt for self-catering accommodations such as whole apartments, provided with fully equipped kitchen which turns out very to be very convenient if you want to save on restaurants and buy and cook your own food. They are the perfect accommodation option for anybody who wants to feel independent when travelling and if travelling in small groups as well.

Guest Houses

Guest Houses are very similar to Bed and Breakfast except for breakfast service which is not available: it is a home that offers rooms or beds to travellers, usually at cheaper rates than hotels. This is a great way to learn more about the local habits of the country you are visiting. If you are open minded and willing to experience new cultural aspect different than yours, you could even be asked to share a traditional meal with your host family.
