Descripción

The structure of the Castello di San Giorgio Canavese has two parts: the guesthouse and the castle.

The Foresteria, born by the careful restoration of a wing of the castle of San Giorgio Canavese, has been transformed in a comforting and refined hotel. Inaugurated in occasion of the winter Olympic Games of Turin 2006, it has 10 bedrooms, furnished with period pieces and overlooking a large park with secular trees, with a magnificent view on the Alps. All the bedrooms have TV, internet connection wi-fi, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer.
The Foresteria has the restaurant (only on booking) open at the hotel's guests and to other guests, every night, closed on Monday.
The Castle was built, in its actual aspect, in the XVII century, and the pictorial decorations are of the eighteenth century; the first nucleus goes up to Middle Ages. It has 15 rooms, with capacity from 20 to 200 persons, equipped for meetings, receptions and events of any kind. It can host banquets to a maximum of 600 persons. Also the inferior floor, where they the ancient kitchens were, has been restored, and can host 250 persons. The central saloon, in virtue of it’s optimizes acoustics, is an excellent centre for concerts of classical music.
