Description

Falconara Charming House and Resort is an elegant property in a fascinating location facing the sea. Close to the Resort stands the Falconara Castle, built in Norman times to counter to invasion of the Moors.
Located on the south eastern coast of Sicily Between Agrigento and Ragusa, the Falconara Charming House and Resort was opened in the summer of 2007. It has been built on the same land that once was home to peasants who served the Castle.
Attention to details of the interior and exterior spaces, the choice of building materials and furnishings, make this place unique.
The organization at the hotel is a guarantee of professionalism, hospitality and comfort.
At 200 meters from the sea is the main building of the resort called “Club House” completely new and modern, that houses the majority of the bedrooms and the main services: lobby, reception, bar , restaurant, wellness centre and fitness room.
Particular attention was paid to the work of architectural restoration of the building called “La Fattoria”; a dependency that houses some of the most characteristic bedrooms like the Deluxe Suites. “La Fattoria” represent a real balcony overlooking the sea.
The sports area has an outdoor swimming pool with adjacent bar, and a tennis court.
Free unguarded parking area is also available.
Bordering the hotel's beautiful Mediterranean gardens is a pretty bay with a sandy beach and just above the beach is a sandy terrace with beach umbrellas, sun-beds and beach towels.
The Resort’s 65 rooms are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, private bathroom with hairdryer.
The bedrooms are bright, spacious and comfortable, featuring a design that blends contemporary elements with classic features. A union that combines sophistication and elegance that is expressed in tasteful colours.
The famous Valle dei Templi of Agrigento, the Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina with its splendid mosaics, Caltagirone with its craft made ceramics and the pearls of the Sicilian baroque: Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli are all within easy reach.
A few miles away and you are in Palma di Montechiaro and Santa Maria di Belice, places described in the “Gattopardo” and loved by its author Tomasi di Lampedusa.
