호스텔스클럽이 2008년도 독일에서 가장 우수한 호스텔로 선정한 Dresden에 있는 Hostel Mondpalast는 드레스덴의 시내 중심부, 젊은이들이 많이 모이는 장소인, 훌륭한 바와 유흥 장소들이 몰려 있는 곳에 있다.

Dresden-Neustadt 주변 지역은 다국적 문화가 존재하고 젊은 예술가들과 학생들, 독특한 분위기의 장소이다. 주변에는 약국과 많은 상점들, 바, 카페, 공원, 아름다운 건물의 Elbe riverbanks, 슈퍼마켓, 세탁소, 빵집들이 몰려 있다. 필요한 모든 것들을 찾아볼 수 있다.

수분거리에 아주 역사적이고 아름다운 장소들이 있다. 객실은 아주 청결하고 밝고, 저렴하며 발코니와 TV가 있는 더블룸부터 10인용 다인실까지 갖추고 있다.

내부에 라운지 바와 요리가 가능한 주방, 다른 여행객들과 잡담이나 친구를 사귈 수 있는 공용홀이 있다. 24시간 리셉션 운용되고 폐문이나 야간 통금 없고 인터넷 접속, 락커, 자가 주방 시설, 신용카드 수락하며 침대 시트는 불포함이고 세탁의 이유로 한번 2유로를 추가적으로 받는다.
