Excellent !!!!

The website said that breakfast was included in the rate, however when we arrived we were told there was definitely no breakfast. The space was fine so we could prepare our own, but it may be an idea to take that page down from the website to avoid disappointing anyone.

A fabulous location with friendly and helpful staff. Really great value for money.

Ca da' Gallo is very clean and in a good location. It is however not being maintained to the optimal and guests should note that despite having airconditioning units in the rooms, these do not work. In addition, we stayed in a room in which there were building works adjacent and this resulted in a huge amount of mosquitos due to the damp conditions (wet concrete, water etc.). The breakfast provided is inedible (and only instant coffee provided) but there is a fridge so you can bring your own.

There is no reception/front desk, we told our host when we would arrive in Venice. We didn't have an internet connection, the wifi at the hostel didn't work so we had to find an internet cafe to contact the hosts, it took 2hrs for someone to show up. The wifi worked 20% of the time. When we asked around, there were better value hostels around. Although very small, the room & bathroom were clean. The location was great though.

Il prezzo è decisamente alto rispetto al servizio. La colazione è autogestita, ma la macchinetta del caffe non funziona e il bollitore aveva la resistenza bruciata (quindi l'acqua era imbevibile): abbiamo potuto solo mangiare delle fette biscottate già aperte da qualche giorno.

Avevo chiesto di avere un phon funzionante per potermi lavare alla mattina prima di abbandonare la stanza: mi sono fatta la doccia, ma al momento di asciugarmi i capelli il phon è risultato essere rotto.

La staff non parla italiano (per noi non è stato un problema, ma potrebbe esserlo per qualcun altro) e nonostante le numerose sollecitazioni non abbiamo avuto alcun supporto.

La reception è distante dalla stanza quindi per qualsiasi cosa occorre sperare che qualcuno sia disponibile a venire fino alla stanza.

La camera matrimoniale è in realtà composta da due letti singoli: io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo dovuto dormire in due in un solo letto perchè le lenzuola dell'altro erano macchiate.

L'unica cosa positiva è la posizione: centrale all'isola, comoda alle sedi universitarie e vicina alla stazione.

Si potrebbe migliorare il momento check-in e dare qualche info in più sulla struttura, come ad esempio specificare che per alcune camere il bagno è si privato, ma non in camera. Pulizia bagno da rivedere un pochino

Ca del Gallo wird äusserst unseriös betrieben. Ich kann nur dringend von diesem Hotel abraten!!!!!

Sehr einfache und saubere Unterkunft. Frühstück leider mangelhaft: nur Grissini, Espresso und Milch, 1 Sorte Saft und rohes Toastbrot und Nutella. Teilweise zu wenig Geschirr und Besteck.

Nice place, but on the first morning the bathroom was very cold since heating had been turned off and on the last morning we only had cold water for shower.

La camera non era la stessa della foto nel momento della prenotazione, era fredda e non erano presenti coperte in più. Non c'era l'acqua calda che, dopo numerose chiamate, è stata ripristinata mezz'ora prima del check out. Il phon in dotazione dopo 30 secondi di utilizzo si spegneva per surriscaldamento. il personale non parlava italiano e capiva poco l'inglese.

Sehr gute Lage - nahe beim Bahnhof und gute Erreichbarkeit aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Campo Sta. Margherita gleich ums Eck. Vom Frühstück eigentlich nur Espresso zu gebrauchen (ansonsten nur endlos-haltbare croissants im Plastik, u.ä.).

Esperienza fantastica. personale squisito e gentilissimo, ci ha dato un sacco di consigli utili riguardo cibo/attrazioni turistiche. Location ottima poiché situato a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a 20 da San Marco. Stanza davvero bella e accogliente, bagno nuovissimo e attrezzato. Consigliato al 100%!!!

Für Neukunden des Hotels ist es sehr empfehlenswert eine genaue Wegbeschreibung mitzusenden da das Hotel nicht beschriftet ist.

Sympa, propre mais un peu de bric et de broc donc cher pour ce que c'est. Mais c'est Venise... Par contre, la personne nous a recommandé de fabuleuses adresses !

The staff was really great! Coffe could be better. As I used to stay in Venice near Rialto, from my point of view the location was not perfect. But on the other hand it is close to Piazale Roma and Santa Lucia, so no need for vaporetto when checking out. The vicinity of the BB is peaceful and quiet. But careful and do not leave windows on the ground floor opened at night. You never know who is going to drop in.

Clean and very quiet. Poor availability of staff.Breakfast very basic.Our room was less nice than others.We were disappointed because we had booked 5 nights.

You would stay there for the location , but this is also a problem as the Hotel is a series of separate buildings and as such , there is no manned foyer . the staff were very helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage while we visited Venice before our late night out .

Un soggiorno fantastico, personale cordiale, stanze con un ottimo arredamento, massima pulizia, struttura tipica e ristrutturata.

Great location and great host! She was flexible enough to allow us to leave our luggage even though we arrived early morning. The breakfast included basic but adequate. The ensuite room we had was clean and comfortable. The only negative point for our stay was the mosquitos when the windows were opened (late september). Overall it was a very good experience.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questo B&B ed era la prima volta che visitavamo Venezia. E' il B&B più economico che abbiamo trovato. Il nostro budget era limitato quindi abbiamo optato per la camera matrimoniale con il bagno esterno (bisogna scendere da una scala per raggiungerlo) ma per tre notti si può benissimo adattarsi. Fatevi dare il fornelletto per le zanzare perchè purtroppo non ci sono le zanzariere. La tv prendeva pochi canali, ma ne abbiamo fatto a meno. La colazione non è artigianale ma ha prodotti confezionati (brioches, marmellatine e fette biscottate). Il responsabile noi non abbiamo avuto modo di conoscerlo perchè il B&B è gestito da due ragazze. Benedetta è molto simpatica e ci ha fornito un sacco di consigli utili per visitare e mangiare a Venezia, compresa una mappa!

Schönes B&B. Zentrale Lage ermöglicht es, alles bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zimmer war relativ neu mit tollem großen Fenster zum Brunnen. Frühstück zweckmäßig.

Das B&B Ca' del Gallo ist vom Bahnhof Santa Lucia fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar und nicht schwer zu finden. Insgesamt sind wir für 3 Nächte sehr zufrieden mit dem Zimmer und dem privaten Bad. Leider spricht und versteht das Personal kaum Englisch.

FANTASTICO! la stanza era stupeda, il bagno fighissimo e il B&b si trova a meno di 1km dalla stazione di S.lucia, tre ponti e arrivi! CONSIGLIATISSIMOOOOO!!!!

Bad nicht neben Zimmer, erreichbar durch steile Treppe, bei der manchmal das Licht ausging. Als Frau allein zu dunkel draußen, schlecht beleuchtet, macht Angst.

Very nice accommodation that is modern and clean. It is within walking distance to very nice squares and the main sightseeing attractions. I would highly recommend this B&B!

B&B situato in una posizione centrale e molto vicina alle zone più turistiche di Venezia. Siamo stati benissimo, lo staff e' stato molto accogliente e gentile. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono considerando i prezzi di Venezia. Colazione abbondante! Unica nota dolente sono stati i 15 euro pagati in più per il pernottamento di una sola notte!comunque il nostro giudizio e' stato nettamente positivo!

When it is 34 degrees the air conditioner is almost useless.. when you pay the rates and get cheap plastic disposable cups well go somewhere else..

Ottima posizione, staff gentile e accogliente, bagni puliti e nuovi ma in alcuni manca il bidet,wifi funzionante con un seguale non sempre presente. Ci ritorniamo

the room is too small. If you want air-conditioner, you need to pay 20 Euro per night. Good bathroom but i need bigger bedroom. super basic breakfast served
