Our home is in a monumental church that we have re-designed to meet the standards of today’s travellers and involved locals. The church has its own history, dating back over a century. For now, we’ll give you the short version.

Around Utrecht’s Dom Tower there used to be churches to the north, the west, the east and the south. Literally! The Westerkerk was one of four Reformed Protestant churches that the city named after a cardinal direction.

The Westerkerk opened in 1893.

Yes, it’s got the Dom. This Medieval tower always serves as an orientation point. Or as a scenic lookout if you conquer its 465 stairs. Get high, without getting lost.

BUNK is only about 30 minutes away (door-to-door)
 from one of the largest airports in the world: Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. In Utrecht, you’re right on the bridge towards the rest of Holland and the world.
