About us
El Mono Sabio is a chillout hostel so every aspect of the hostel has been prepared with this in mind. It is a place to chill, a place to relax, a place to have a laugh… Laying on the grass, watching the majesty of Pitusiray with a drink in your hand, music humming in soft tunes on your ears, amazing food at the snack bar.

Surroundings
Pre-Incan Qali Pujio and Urcos ruins are two of the hidden treasures of the valley. In Urcos ruins you may also see the temple of Water and tample of Sun amongst the flower fields and see the snake fountain in the ruins of the town. To visit these newly dug sites are free of charge. Our guests may take a 3 hour trek up to the ruins of ancient city of Huchuy Qosqo. Other than these close by historical placeses our guests may walk and trek around the town and discover many hidden natural treasures

El Mono Sabio is a chillout hostel so every aspect of the hostel has been prepared with this in mind. Calca is located in the middle of the Sacred Valley; it is 25 minutes to Pisac and 25 minutes to Urubamba by local minibuses (collectivo). Cusco and Ollantaytambo is 1 hour minibus ride from Calca minibus terminal. All destinations except Ollantaytambo and airport have direct local minibus routs leaving from the main terminal in Calca. Calca and surrounding villages has many natural beauty spots
