What a horrible experience when I read the review I thought it was going to be bad but not that bad.
If your other option is sleeping on the street you might consider it because I had floods in my room malfunctioning lock and a bad next door that smelled like horrible piss. Just the amount of time that it took to fix those things where it wasn't worth the pay.

Totally dirty and ugly place. No vibe at all, comon rooms are bad. This is a huge hostel with hundreds of beds, kitchen is dirty, seems like nobody rakes care of it. I stayed just one night and cancelled the rest 3nights. I rather pay more than stay longer in this horrible hostel.

O hostel é bem localizado, perto do centro, perto do ponto de ônibus que passa o trenzinho turístico e gratuito. Estava limpo como um todo, mas o corredor tinha um cheiro de umidade / mofo um pouquinho desagradável. Fora isso foi tudo ótimo. O bar do hostel é muito legal.
