About us
The Stoked beach hostel opens it’s doors for another season! If you're looking for more than your average hostel experience then you’ve some to the right place. We are a small hostel looking to bring together like minded travelers, surfers, chillers, adventurers, partiers … everyone altogether to create some good times and amazing memories….
Your home away from home! The Stoked team live onsite and will make you feel part of the family; whether it's heading out for a group surf in the morning

Accommodation
Accommodation options: Dorm and Private room.

Private - Our simple and stylish private rooms are the perfect base for your stay in Sri Lanka. Both rooms are en-suite, contain spacious queen size double beds and have access to Wi-Fi. A/C and non A/C rooms are available.

Dorms - Our spacious four bed dormitory is ideal for groups or travelers on a budget, looking to meet new people. The dorm has two single beds and one bunk, shared bathroom, communal area to chill and share meals.

Services and activities
We want you to feel part of the Stoked family. Everyday gives the opportunity, to surf, snorkel, chill at the beach and head for a few sunset beers.
Watersport equipment, such as surfboards, snorkel etc. and bicycles are all available to borrow at no extra charge.
The Kitchen is open to use, and we have our local kitchen wizard Gawri cooking up delicious local food for breakfast and lunch daily for you to try.
Fitness classes run from our onsite exercise zone, and professional surf coaching.

Surroundings
Tucked away in the quiet beach side village of Polhena, less than 100m from the beautiful Polhena beach, the Stoked beach hostel is more than just a room to crash in. It’s the perfect home base from which to surf, snorkel, explore the local area by bicycle or tuk tuk, and immerse yourself in the South Sri Lankan way of life. For surfers one of the South's best reef breaks (Madiha surf point) is only a short cycle away.
The area of Polhena/Madiha is a quieter corner of the south coast.
