Hair of the Dog, previously known as Xhostel is a party hostel located in the Upscale neighborhood of evksinograd, conveniently located between the center of varna and the golden sands resort area. We are also only a 15 minute walk to beach. Our Hostel is one of a kind and enjoy our beautiful garden and make new friends from around the world.



We offer two 6 bed dorm rooms with toilets and showers located in the rooms, two 8 bed dorms with shared bathrooms, a 4 bed dorm with air conditioning and shared bathroom, along with 3 private rooms with shared bathrooms. We have 3 common areas and a shared kitchen. Wifi is located throughout the premises.

Services and activities
The hostel has a garden with a bbq, a common room inside, and kitchen. We offer WIFI, sign ups for all meals, sign ups for parties at Golden Sands and other activities provided by the hostel. We offer laundry, wake up service and hangover packages.


There are two markets close to the hostel that are walking distance. We are in the middle of Golden Sands and the center of Varna. From the airport and from the central bus station, you can catch the 409 bus to the hostel. You can either get off the bus by the gas station EKO or the Marek station right after that. There will be signs to follow your way to the hostel after that.

From the train station you can take the 9 or 109 bus to the hostel and you will get off the bus by the gas station

We are a very social and fun hostel. People usually end up extending with us! We are the only party hostel in Varna.
