Casa Lunass

Prima Casa in Havana. De straat en de gevel van het huis geven niet meteen een prettig idee maar na 82 treden kom je in een prima gezellige, ruime en schone casa. Vlak bij zee en vlak bij het oude centrum.

Everything was great. But some people may want to know that there are 105 steps to the upper apartments. But otherwise the hosts and the breakfasts were great.

This was the most fantastic, friendly, convenient place to stay in Havana. Yamilee and Kenia are so kind and friendly, and helped us with many aspects of travelling around Cuba. This is the best place to stay and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Nicely decorated, clean place in Centro Havana (our favorite part of Havana). Very friendly female atmosphere. A place to come back to.

L'ostello si trova in Avana Centro, al 3° piano senza ascensore. Sicuramente non consiglierei la zona che tuttavia rende l'idea di come sia la vita vera dei cubani (bimbi che giocano in strada, persone che ammazzano polli, rifiuti e calcinacci in strada e nei marciapiedi e poca illuminazione). Dopo una notte abbiamo prenotato un albergo in zona Avana Vieja. LA camera era abbastanza piccola e non molto pulita. Il condizionatore incassato nel muro e faceva un rumore assurdo però era impossibile dormire senza accenderlo (luglio). Sicuramente la camera rispecchia il prezzo e quindi per una notte e con buono spirito di adattamento si può fare...

Nous avons dormir deux nuits à la casa Lunass qui est très bien située pour visiter la vielle Havana.

Nous avons pu discuter, avec la propriétaire qui a été très a notre écouteles et filles qui nous prépare de bon petit déjeuner.

Nous avons été très bien.

The location of the hostel is perfect for visiting old Havana while being slightly apart from the tourist hub for an authentic experience. The host helped us find an amazing alternative casa when their hostel was full due to the sickness of one of her guests. Besides, she helped us book a taxi to Vinale while it was almost impossible to organize by ourselves (During Obama's visit, many roads are closed). I would highly recommend this casa!

We wanted to go to Lunass but 1 day before we arrived they had a pipe rupture in the house and so we stayed with a friend of Kenia and Yamlilee. The Girls managed it wonderful and cooked for us excellent. The whole stay was very familar and very good.

Cuando llegamos a la Casa Lunass, Yamilee nos explicó que había un problema técnico que afectaba al agua en el edificio y que nos moverían a otra casa solo a una cuadra. Fue muy simpática y atenta. La casa de Mercy donde nos re-ubicaron estaba muy limpia, pero no tenía el mismo ambiente ni vida ninguna. No nos gustó que nos "ofrecieran" un desayuno sin informarnos de que tenía un coste extra, 5CUC por persona por un desayuno que en cualquier cafetería cubana te viene costando 1/1.5CUC como mucho. Nos ofrecieron un servicio de traslado a la estación de Viazul por 10CUC y luego conocimos allí a algunas personas que habían pagado 5CUC por el mismo trayecto. Sentimos un poco de decepción, y fue una pena que la Casa Lunass no estaba disponible, seguro que hubiese sido una experiencia más agradable.

Non siamo in grado di esprimere un opinione su Casa Lunass poichè all'arrivo siamo stati dirottati presso un'altra casa particular; consuetudine molto diffusa a Cuba.

Casa Lunass had a burst pipe just before we were due to stay, so the hosts arranged for us to stay just round the corner in their brother's guest house. All hosts were very friendly and excellent, the room was very nice and had air conditioning, and breakfast was excellent.

Best in havana! we love this Casa!! Nice place, clean, nice view, staff are so nice, friendly,kindly,refrigerator, air condition! you should chose Casa Lunass!!!

It's only unfortunate thing that we were not able to stay in Lunass for the important issue(I didn't know details...) in the first day.They were prepared another casa.

But Lunass is perfect location and breakfast.There are cute interior and great hospitality!

The hosts were wonderful. Definitely take them up on cooking dinner for you!

Fantastic casa with lovely hosts - one of our favourite during our stay in Cuba.

Llegamos a la casa y nos dijeron que habia habido un problema con el baño y que no nos podían dar el habitación. Nos mandaron a otra casa particular allí cerca que estaba limpia pero nada especial. Desafortunadamente esto pasa a menudo en Cuba:reservas y cuando llegas no hay sitio y te mandan a otro lado.

Stayed here with my family of 5 for 12 days, (18.06 - 30.06.2014) and had a great experiance. The location is great,the Apartment is clean and the host and the straff are excellent. We could ask for everything and would get help. Will definatly stay here next time in Havana!

Una casa muy agradable, muy limpia y en un lugar inmejorable. Si viajas a La Habana, no dudes en contactar con Yamilee y Vivian, son unas anfitrionas encantadoras.

El mejor alojamiento de la Havana, limpio, buena comida y unas chicas encantadoras, si vuelvo a la Havana, volvere a Casa Lunass sin pensarmelo.

Des personnes qui nous ont évités tout le séjour. Des informations inexistantes ou inadaptées. Une casa sans âme. Je ne recommande pas.

Buenisimo lugar para hospedarse si deseas visitar la habana. 100% recomendado! Yamilee y vivian te haran sentir como en tu propia casa.

A Casa Lunass fica bem próximo ao Malecón, na Havana Velha. A localização é ótima e dá para ir a pé a vários pontos turísticos da cidade. A primeira impressão de quando se chega ao hostel é de dúvida, pois é apenas uma portinha na rua e a escada para subir ao hostel é bem estreita. Mas o hostel é super organizado, igualzinho ao das fotos publicadas. A Yamilee e a Vivian da Casa Lunass são muito atenciosas. Super recomendo!

me quede en el mejor hostel de La Habana, las chicas Yamilee y Viviana son las mejores host que pude tener, son amables y super procupadas de la comodidad del huesped, Rasario es un sol y la ubicacion es privilegiada
