Casa Tomaza

cuando llegamos a registrarnos nos intentaron cobrar 8 CUC (7,8 Euros) mas de lo que debíamos cancelar, es decir de pagar 13 CUC sugerido por la pagina, pasaríamos a pagar en el lugar 20 CUC

Tomaza est une personne très sympathique, efficace et chaleureuse.

Our worst casa in Cuba. The location is pretty good in the middle of Habana centro. The room and bathroom were ok and clean, but the owner was not pleasant. During our whole stay (3 nights) she kept us annoying with all kinds of stuff. Every time she saw us she kept us asking for our money, while in all the other casas we just paid at the end of our stay. She would arrange a taxi for us to the airport, but apparently it was just a friend of her driving us in his car and halfway he stopped and would only continue if we immediately paid him.

Last but not least, she does not speak any word of English and only speaks Spanish with a very strong accent. So it was always hard to communicate with her.

Casa Tomaza is truly an amazing casa. Tomaza is super friendly and does everything to make you feel at home. She helps you with arranging taxi's to other cities or the airport. She also has connections with other casas in Trinidad, Viniales etc. The breakfast that you get for five cuc is really worth it. Especially the marmalade that she makes is really good! She doesn't speak English, but she does everything she can to make sure that you understand her in Spanish. The location of her casa is perfect. It is a five minute walk to the touristic part of Havana but it is located in Centro Havana so you can also see the non touristic part of Havana. Both rooms are clean, comfortable and have a great airconditioning. This casa was the best one that we stayed in during our entire trip in Cuba. So don't hesitate and book a room in this wonderful casa!
