Casa Vicente y Alina

Estuvimos en Cuba del 10 al 20 de marzo del 2016. La estancia como decimos en Costa Rica estuvo 'pura vida'. Don Vicente y doña Alyna excelentes anfitriones. Su familia y colaboradoras muy atentos, comida deliciosa, muy buena ubicación (a 100 m.del Malecón)en Hab.Centro lo que permitió desplazarnos fácilmente. Sus recomendaciones nos ayudaron a tomar decisiones. Sentimos confianza y seguridad en esta casa, la cual es limpia y cómoda. Recomendada 100%. Roxana y Lorena de Costa Rica 'Pura Vida'.

Je suis très déçu de cette casa qui malgré une réservation sur le site avec paiement d'une avance, ainsi qu'une conformation par mail et l arrangement d'un taxi à l'aéroport nous a dit à notre arrivée qu'ils n avaient plus de place et nous ont rédigé vers une autre casa sans eau chaude avec un lit horriblement dur.

Gostei muito de me hospedar lá. A casa é limpa as pessoas extremamente gentis. O Vicente é uma pessoa muito atenciosa, nos recebeu muito bem, nos deu dicas, explicou o mapa e ainda ensinou sobre os charutos. O café da manhã que eles oferecem é otimo. A localização fica a uma quadra do Beira mar, mas de Havana velho uns 5 minutos de carro. Eles te oferecem serviço de translado do aeroporto para a casa que tamb N foi muito bom, pois facilita a vida. Recomendo a estadia com eles! Voltaria a me hospedar lá!

This casa did not want to take us in after reservation due to 'water problems'. As water problems are quite common in cuba, i do not think this was the real reason. The owner found us a different casa close by, but the rooms were not with private bathrooms as we agreed. There we had to haggle for the price with the other owner. Terrible experience of a first day in cuba because we arrived at 11pm after 3 flights totaling 25 hours. I do not understand why we paid the reservation for. Vicente was claiming he got none of it,didn't want to return the reservation money, nor forward it to the new casa to make to total price as firstly agreed.

The accommodation is located in Central Havana in a very convenient location - a block away from Malecon and 10 minutes' walk from the major sights in the Old Town. If you want to experience the real Havana free from tourists, this is the place to stay. Our host, Vicente is very hospitable and speaks good English. The rooms are clean, food is delicious. Try their home-made bean soup!!! If I returned to Havana, I'd definitely stay there again! Recommended to all!

We had a lovely time, friendly, helpful, inclusive, good English, great food. Email contact before we came was through an intermediary who did not pass on messages - no real problem but confusing.

Our stay in Habana at Vicente and Alina's was a delight, and wonderful in every way. The family was always friendly and helpful, Vicente was such a gracious host. Location is perfect; barely a minute's walk from the waterfront, a 5 minute walk to Old Habana, yet with all the perks of the cheaper and more "local" Centro Habana (keep those CUP pesos handy for all the little window cafes around the place!). Also, we strongly recommend that you do have breakfasts (5 CUC) and dinners (10 CUC) at the casa. Outside of casas, food can be very hit and miss, and it's the best value for money by far, the best genuine Cuban fare we had. The portions were gargantuan, and everything fresh and delicious. We are so grateful to Vicente and Alina, and the whole household for such an amazing home during our stay!

From the moment we arrived to departure Vicente and Alina took great care of us! The food provided by the Casa was great! The hospitality of the entire staff was wonderful. The hosts were super friendly and we especially enjoyed chatting with Vicente in the evenings and benefitting from the generosity of his advice. Highly recommended!

Very nice Casa to stay in. The cook was wonderful. Had lobster dinner and it was fantastic. When we arrived they were overbooked but quickly made arrangments and we were given a room. I would stay here again. Met a couple from Holland that had stayed years prior and were just there to visit for the day.

Very helpful staff, they had great recommendations for other casa particulares in other cities and helped out calling taxi to the airport et.c. Walking distance to old havana (1,5 km) and the capitol (1 km).

Todo muy bien, habitaciones y servicio muy bueno, como en familia!!,ubicación (una maravilla), para volver.

Alina og Vincent var meget søde, fleksible og hjælpsomme med alt fra logi i andre byer, taxi, opbevaring af kufferter og mad.

At the arrival we were directly moved to some other place due to redecoration.Lady from the second apartment wasn't willing to understand that we paid 10% via website and wanted to charge us full price for the room.

I don't recommend taxi service they offer (airport-apartment) as the driver charges you 25CUC instead of 20 agreed.

print all the confirmation you get from they as they try to cheat you in every possible manner!

Very poor conditions and people concentrated only on money not service.

Favor evitar problemas familiares frente a los huéspedes... La Nuera de la dueña es una persona sin educación, que grita, manda y trata de mala forma al personal de la casa. Evitar este tipo de situación. El servicio de limpieza y comida, Excelente!
