Great place, location by the Malecon was almost perfect just slightly spoilt by noise from building works nearby.
I regret not spending time with Wilfredo, very good english and great host. Would go back.

Too noisy! There is a big construction site next door and a busy road nearby. The windows don't block the noise and we wake up by trucks coming and going, workers playing music, talking during the whole night.

Mili ludzie, świetne położenie (obok hiszpańskiej ambasady, przy Malacon), rano troszkę głośno, ale przesuniecie czasie zwylke i tak nie pozwala długo spać.

Wilfredo and his family were charming. And we fell in love with their cute little dog Roco! Great location - very central and safe with a nice view. Such a great way to see Havana!

Very nice room, situared on the edge off Havana Vieja. Looks as it was in 1910 (when it was build) but modernized. People are very friendly. The main road that is not far from the room can be an little noisy, but that didn't bother us.
We had bad luck one night: the company that was rebuilding a house nearby decided one night to pour concrete all night. But I guess that's just incidental. Happily we always travel with earplugs (and that's my advise to all off you when you're traveling to big cities all over the world)

Immediately, we felt welcome, and part of the host family. They really contributed to making it a very memorable stay in Havana. Breakfast was tasty, the room was good (incl. a 220 V power socket), and the location excellent. For sure, we can recommend choosing Casa Wilfredo!

A very sweet family and great location, very clean despite a somewhat out-fashioned decoration. But prepare your earplugs: with single-panel windows, the street below can be very noisy.

Had a wonderful stay with Alfredo and Mislen; place was centrally located and had a nice balcony with view of the park and inlet to harbour. Were served delicious breakfasts, got tips of best places to eat, even a short walking tour to orient us to money exchanges, groceries,etc. Very private and secure room with lovely HIGH ceiling and door; private bath. Must be able to climb stairs.

I had three lovely nights at Casa Wilfredo. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming and I felt very comfortable there. The room was spacious with a balcony and private bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic as was the location - literally a few minutes walk into the heart of the old city. Wilfredo was kind enough to help me get a taxi to my next destination and agree a good price with the driver. All in all, a great experience.

Friendly and helpful owners who provided a good breakfast and booked a taxi for us back to the airport. The house is slightly outside the old town and the room is small, but in a lovely house. The most expensive of all the houses we stayed in.

Gute lage in alt-havana, etwas laut (Hauptverkehrsstraße). Freundliches paar, aber nicht aufdringlich (eher distanziert). Eigener Schlüssel für etwas Unabhängigkeit - sehr gut. Sehr kleines Zimmer (zum schlafen ausreichend). Grundsauberkeit vorhanden. Handtücher und Bettwäsche nur fraglich frisch. Frühstück weder inkludiert noch angeboten (gibt aber genug Möglichkeiten außerhalb).

Our stay at Casa Wilfredo was excellent! The casa is beautiful, clean and located in walking distance from all major sites in Havana Vieja (e.g. Museum of Revolution is only 2 blocks away).
Wilfredo, his wife and son, are very warm and hospital and were always eager to help us with advice e.g. on where to eat, where to park the car with safety, etc.
The breakfast was abundant with different kinds of tropical fruits, freshly made scrambled eggs, hot coffee, fresh mango/pine apple/.. juice, etc.
In general, we had an excellent time in Havana and our stay in Casa Wilfredo is one of the reasons for this.

We only had one night in Casa Wilfredo before we flew out of Havana. It was a beautiful old house inside with stained glass windows and a balcony over-looking Castillo del Morro and the ocean. Bed was comfortable - but I was lucky I had ear plugs as we slept with the door open to the balcony and it can be quite noisy with the road outside. Our host Wilfredo was kind and accommodating by letting us keep our bags there all the following day until our flight later that night. Breakfast was nice, fresh fruit, coffee, scrambled eggs and bread. Great location in old havana, easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, museums etc.

The location is perfect, overlooking a park and round the corner from the famous Malecon, the Havana prom. Wilfredo is the perfect host, walking us to a restaurant and calling us a taxi in the early hours of our last day, carrying our heavy suitcases down and waving us off.

Ich war 100% zufrieden, die Familie ist supernett, die Lage ist meiner Meinung nach optimal, da die Luftverschmutzung hier am Meer nicht ganz so extrem ist und man trotzdem relativ zentral (Habana vieja=plaza central ca. 400m) wohnt. Einen kleinen Wertmutstropfen gibt es: es ist morgens gegen 6.00 wegen dem Verkehr ziemlich laut, deshalb Ohrstöpsel nicht vergessen - dann ist alles gut!
Beim nächsten Mal Habana bin ich wieder dort. Thommy

The family Wilfredo were kind and generous hosts. The room and ensuite bathroom were comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were very good value but not included in the room tariff. The house is located near a busy intersection, but we managed to sleep very well. Strongly recommended.

Very clean colonial style apartment, located in in the building of Spanish embassy in Old Havana. Owner advised us good restaurant and ordered taxi to Trinidad. I would recommend it.

Wilfredo und seine Frau waren sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.Das einzige das ich zu bemängeln habe ist, dass das Zimmer während unserem gesamten Aufenthalt ( 4 Nächte ) nicht gemacht wurde. In allen anderen Casas wurden das Bett und Bad täglich gemacht.

casa wilfredo was great. wonderful location, clean, good breakfast available, nice family. wilfredo showed us several really great, new restaurants with i n walking distance. also several nice parks, the prado, and parque central all just an easy walk away. i feel like i have new friends in cuba and would stay there again.

Our stay at Casa Wilfredo was excellent. The house is beautiful. Furnishings are simple but comfortable. Wilfredo and his family are excellent hosts and we spend much time with them learning about Cuba and sharing stories. Highly recommended.

This was hands down the most amazing casa we have stayed in during our 3 month trip. Wilfred was beyond a host, we had such a wonderful stay with him. His room and house is just beautiful, opposite the ancient fort and the best view in town. It's perfectly situated to anywhere you need to go. He has many great restaurants to recommend. I highly recommend anyone to stay here, in fact when we return we will look no further.

Very nice location close to the malecon and the spanish embassy also just 1 min to the prado. The owner Wilfredo is a nice guy who speaks enough english and helps in all terms. We enjoyed our stay there.

Wilfredo and his family are very nice and extremely helpful. In my opinion, his facilities are much better than most hotels/nice restaurants. He charges a fair price. He is a wine and food connoisseur, so bring him a nice bottle or some exotic spices as a gift and he will take extra great care of you! Can't wait to see him again on my next visit to Cuba
