It was a super nice experience to be in Mercedes and Ariadna's place! They are very friendly and make you feel like at home. The house is in a good location to move around the city and also is very confortable to have a good and quiet stay. Mercedes helped us with all our questions, she recomended us the best places to go and things to do depending our interests and also we could have good conversations with her. I really recomend it. :) And the breakfast Ariadna does is also great to take energy enought for the day, amazing juices and delicious omelette and much more!

Staying at Casa 'Mercedes y Ariadna' was an awesome, authentic experience that I would recommend anyone looking for a true Cuban experience undertake. Having always heard the Cuban people are extremely friendly, this was validated immediately upon arrival at the 'casa'. We arrived from the airport at around 1:00 a.m., and Mercedes was there waiting for is. She provided us with an enormous amount of information about the surrounding area of Habana Centro, as well as Vedado and Habana Vieja. The location provided easy access to parks, which provide Wi-Fi connections, as well as being close to several economical, yet impressively well-run and delicious restaurants, which are marked on the maps Mercedes provides. The historic Habana Vieja district is a short 5-minute bus ride from the 'casa'; take the A27 bus from Infanta, it costs 0.50 CUC, and its well worth it. Mercedes herself is wonderful; her and her daughter are very friendly and were always prepared to point us in the right direction. The breakfast they provide is quite the deal, and we took advantage of it whenever we could. If you're looking to see how the Cuban people really live and want a very intimate experience, this is the place for you! 10/10
