My first casa in Cuba and could not have been better stay at Marluis House. Marta and Luis are very nice, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with lovely fresh fruits. Good location in Havana Centro, with walking distance to both Havana Vieja and Vedado. Highly recommended!

I was staying with Marta and Luis for 3 weeks in July 2017 and I couldnt imagine a better place to stay in Havanna. Both of them were so sweet and helpful. Whenever I needed help, they were there for me. I really felt like I found a new family in Cuba. My room was very clean and whenever I needed to wash my cloth I had the opportunity to. The breakfast was cheap and tasty as well: Fresh fruits ,eggs, bread and really good coffee. The location of MarLuis is also perfectly located between two big streets where its easy to catch a taxi either to the old town or the other part of Havanna where a lot of restaurants, discos and pubs are. I can highly recommend casa MarLuis. Thanks so much for the amazing time, I miss you guys!!!!

Incredibly kind and friendly hosts, delicious optional breakfast and very comfortable air conditioned room with plenty of clothing storage space, a clean bathroom and cosy beds. About a half hour walk from the old town and centre. Best to get a taxi if returning by night. Hosts speak very good English and will help you with any questions you might have about Havana!

I stayed at MARLUIS house for 7 nights. It was a truly amazing stay with great warm kind owner, Marta and Luis, delicious Cuban breakfast. Location is 20min walk from Obispo street but there's plentey of taxi, bitaxi and surrounding was quiet at night. Good access to shops. Marta and Luis helped me a lot with neibour shop info (where to buy wi-fi card, food, nice restaurant called El Biki) and arranging a taxi to Viazul bus station. Every time I go back to the casa, they welcomed with warm smiles and hugs, giving me a sense of security and home. Thank you so much!

Maria & Luis were SUPER friendly and welcoming. Their house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. They both went above and beyond in helping us with any questions about the area/attractions we had. The Casa is located in New Havana, about a 30 min walk to Old Havana or 5 min in a taxi. It felt just like home and we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend staying here.

Marta and Luis are absolutely wonderful! We stayed with them as soon as we arrived into Havana. Not only were they welcoming but they also managed to set us up with a family in Vinales and sorted our accommodation for when we returned to Havana a week later. We paid about $25 dollars for a nice sized room with aircon. Breakfast was nice. Location was walking distance from the University and Malecon. They speak great English and are just perfect! Thank you for the brilliant stay!

Luis and Marta were absolutely wonderful hosts, very welcoming and helpful in suggesting sights to see and places to eat. I enjoyed my stay so much I stayed again on my return trip to Havana after travelling around. There home and the rooms I stayed in were very comfortable and it is well located for exploring all that Havana has to offer. Would recommend.

Marta and Luis are the loveliest couple ever. They made me feel right at home and were full of advice on what to see and do during my stay in Havana. The Casa is centrally located close to the tourist bus, Old Havana and Vedado!

明るい老夫婦が温かく迎えてくれます。
室内も小さいながら清潔感もあり、コストパフォーマンスはとても良いです。
朝食は別途5ユーロ。フルーツとパン、作りたての温かいオムレツとソーセージ。コーヒーか紅茶が選べます。旧市街から少し距離があるので、タクシー8CUCで行けます。

Marluis House is a great place to stay in Havana! Marta and Luis are very nice, friendly and helpful, and they speak English. The house is nice, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good. Location in Centro Havana is good; you can see more local life there but it is within walking distance to old Old Havana and also Vedado. Highly recommended!

二人とも英語を話せるので、意思の疎通が楽だった。
とても親切で質問には全て丁寧に答えてくれた。
部屋は冷房もついていて、シャワーも温水だった。
セントロハバナのマレコン(海岸)沿いに位置しており、
ハバナの人々の生活を肌で感じたい人にはおすすめ。
物価もオールドハバナよりかなり安い印象。
ただ、観光地であるオールドハバナには徒歩20分以上かかり、
そちらの観光をメインで考えている人には、
オールドハバナでの滞在をすすめる。

The casa is located in central Habana (Near the university and the malecon, 20minutes walk to old Habana). It's very clean and quiet. Marta and Luis are wonderful people. They make sure you feel at home, they answer all your questions and speak good english which was very helpful. I highly recommend Marluis House!

This casa particular is just perfect! Located in a old neighborhood so besides seeing very touristy Old Havana, we also get to have an idea about locals' real life in Havana. Most importantly, Marta and Luis are two super kind and helpful hosts. Can't speak more highly of them. Definitely great value for money! I will stay here again for sure.

Nos hemos sentido muy a gusto en la casa de Marta y Luis. Hemos recibido todo el apoyo y los informaciones, también consejos para pasar unas vacaciones maravillas. El café lo hemos probado en diferentes partes de cuba....pero el de Marta y Luis es el mejor. Daba alegría de volver, después de nuestro viaje-cito por Cuba, a "nuestra" casa... antes de volver a España. Gracias Marta, gracias Luis por ser como sois, y que nunca cambiáis.

気さくで働き者のご夫婦が経営しており、居心地はとても良かったです。ＣＡＳＡのある通りは一見危なっかしそうだが、笑顔であいさつしてくれる。朝食もフルーツがどっさりでおススメです。
シャワーは、水量が多くなると温度は下がるが12月の滞在でも特に問題はなかった。中庭通路にロープが張ってあり、洗濯物が干せて助かるが、日当たりは悪い。

ご夫婦の人柄の良さに感動しました。
ホステル周辺やオススメのレストランについて詳しく教えてくれて、この後のバラデロまでのタクシーもチャーターしてくださいました。部屋には冷蔵庫もエアコンもあり、シャワーやトイレも綺麗で快適です。建物は古いけど、丁寧に掃除されているのがわかります。
一泊しか宿泊しませんでしたが、帰りも温かく見送ってくださいました。またハバナに来る際は是非利用したいです。

なんと言ってもオーナーご夫妻がとても親切。英語が通じるのも心強かったです。オールドハバナからは少し歩きますが、普通のキューバ人たちが住んでいるエリアなので、私にとってはそういう所がかえってよかったです。

3日間お世話になりました。
旧市街からもハバナリブレホテルからも程よく近く（双方徒歩で15分くらい）両方回りやすい場所にあります。ジャズバーも徒歩10分ほどのところにあり、深夜になっても治安も良いので特に危険は感じませんでした。
肝心の部屋については、特に狭さなどは感じず清潔に保たれていたと思います。ただシャワーはジョウロでチョロチョロされている感じの強さでした。室内干しは不可、中庭？のようなところに干す場所があります。
オーナー夫妻は本当に親切で友好的です。到着したのは夜21時ごろだったのですが今から行けるレストランはあるか？などの質問も懇切丁寧に答えてくれ、名刺カードに印刷された地図もわかりやすかったです。最終日にクラシックカーに乗りたい！という要望に応えてくれ、空港への送迎をクラシックカーに頼んでくれました。これは本当に嬉しかった。ありがとうございました。

Perfect place to stay in Havana. Hosts are wonderful people, with as much or as little contact as you like. A great way to get to know a less touristy neighborhood of Havana, which is still walking distance to Old Havana (~25 mins) and Vedado (~10 mins). Clean, quiet, comfortable. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Central Havana, this is it! The owners of Marluis are incredible friendly and kind and will help you with whatever you need help for. The bedroom is good and comes with a bathroom as well. I would really recommend it to everyone else who is visiting Havana!

Marta and Luis were hospitable en very helpful. On arrival they waited for us to check in around midnight. In addition they help us find our way in Havana and got us a reliable taxi and a nice casa in Vinales.
Our room was small, but clean and had warm water and an airconditioning. Breakfast is simple, but adequate. The location is ideal for discovering Havana.

The rooms are clean and the location is between the old and the new center, ideal if you want to see both. We had a very nice time and even came back for the last night. Marta and Luis were great hosts - we arrived early due to a mix up with our travel arrangements but Marta still welcomed us nearly four hours early! They are great hosts, the casa is so close to the Malecon and Callejon de Hamal and between Habana Centro and Vedado. We had a great time - thank you!

I totally enjoyed my stay at Marluis House. Luis and Marta were very helpful and made my stay very easy in finding locations around the city, to getting a bus back to Varadaro. Prima hostel, niet midden in oud Havana, maar op een prima centrale plek. Marte en Luis zijn zeer hartelijke, vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren en regelen zonder problemen allerlei zaken voor je (taxi's etc) of ze proberen het en hebben goede tips. Daarnaast veel goede doorverwijs adressen gekregen in andere steden, bij hun vrienden of familie. Alle voorzieningen zijn prima in orde, mooi typisch Havaiaans huisje en alles is zeer schoon. 2 nachten verbleven aan het begin van onze reis en nog eens 2 aan het eind. Aanrader!

It has been a very nice stay at Marluis House. In Cuba it is important, that you get informations, where things are and the two are very patient to give you all the Information. beeing there, feels a bit like coming home - so everything is good: breakfast, cleaniness and even a 220V-socket. I recommend it without any restrictions!

Das Zimmer roch etwas nach Schimmel, lässt sich wohl schlecht bei Regenwetter vermeiden. Die Leute waren immer da und man klingelte, wenn man zurück war und eingelassen werden wollte.
Lage direkt neben dem Krankenhaus, Ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Capitol durch das einheimische Viertel.

Hej,jag blev anmodad att flytta till ett annat boende som dom ordna i närheten,dom gillade inte att jag hade besök på rummet. Jag tycker det är konstigt.

Sr. Nilsson: Casa Marluis y sus dueños se respetan. Parece que Usted se equivocó al seleccionar la casa. Nosotros no aceptamos clientes que van a la calle a brindar información e invitación a mujeres jovencitas, de dónde están hospedados, para intentar introducirlas en la habitación rentada, una mujer tras otra durante el día y la noche.Le hicimos una advertencia inicial pero la situación continuó y se tornó insoportable. No obstante le devolvimos todo su dinero e hicimos las gestiones para trasladarlo a otro hospedaje,también con promoción en HostelsClub, con similares condiciones y con igual precio por noche. Sus opiniones de despecho no nos preocupan! Nos avalan un sin número de clientes en diferentes sitios de hospedaje internacionales!!

Recomendado 100%, el mejor lugar en el que me he quedado en mucho tiempo y todo por la enorme amabilidad y buena disposición de Marta y Luis, desde que llegamos ya estaban a nuestra espera, y así fueron todos los días de nuestra estancia con ellos, desde recomendaciones de lugares q conocer, restaurantes hasta ayudarnos con asuntos de reservas de autobuses, nos sentimos como en casa todo el tiempo por la enorme hospitalidad y volveríamos sin dudarlo!!! :D
