Paramonasis an area with very few permanent residents, who amount to no more than 30 individuals in the winter months.

The area’s beach is beautiful and provides facilities such as sun beds, umbrellas, showers and changing booths. Paramonas is a very quiet area, even in the summer months. Peace and tranquillity are what set this area apart. Here our guests are happy to find what they were in fact dreaming of when they chose Paramonas and our hotel for their holidays.

The area offers a great number of nature trails, a real pleasure for our nature-loving guests. The village of Agios Mattheos lies 2.5 kilometres from Paramonas. From there, the guests of Paramonas can take the daily bus to the city of Corfu. At Agios Mattheos, visitors can also find a doctor, pharmacy, post office, church, gym, supermarket, bakery, confectionery and petrol station.

At a distance of 10 kilometres from Paramonas, at Moraitika and Mesongi, visitors will find a tourist area with large hotels, stores, souvenir shops, ATMs of various banks, car rental agencies, scooter and motorcycle rental agencies, a taxi rank and plenty of bars and discos for those who are looking to experience some nightlife.

Eight kilometres to the south of Paramonas lies Halikounas Lake. This is a beautiful lake which is connected to the sea through a narrow passage and is separated from it by a large sandy beach that is 2.5km long.

Benitses lies 15 kilometres away, while Agios Gordios, an area with stores, various useful services and ATMs, lies only 5 kilometres away.

Paramonas is a quiet oasis on a cosmopolitan island. When leaving, visitors wish that the time will pass quickly so they can soon be back at the village and at Paramonas Hotel.
