Peristera is located on the north-eastern side of the Chortiati mountain at an altitude of 700 metres. It is a very old village which has maintained its traditional architecture to a great extent. The exceptional location offers an amazing view towards the Anthemounda Valley and the Thermaikos Bay. It is approximately 27 kilometres from Salonica and one can get there by taking the Salonica-Polygyroy National Road.
