Agora Hostel - Sicily

Arredamento essenziale ma posizione centrale a 2 minuti da piazza duomo. La sera la musica dei locali si sente fino a tardi. No aria condizionata, il che d'estate è abbastanza pesante. e le porte delle camere non si potevano chiudere in quanto non c'erano chiavi.

camere troppo calde e rumorose causa movida la sera,poco attenzione da parte degli operatori dell'ostello per il cibo in frigo...

Ubicación céntrica y trato muy cordial.La habitación con baño, aunque podía ser más cómoda, suficiente, limpia y correcta.

Air conditioning in summer would be a great extra bonus if available

À première vue l'hôtel à l'air situé dans un ghetto mais non le reste en dessous est très populaire par les gens de la ville et très bon,abordable,festif.tout est propre le personnel gentil mais déjeuner restreint en choix .

ottimo posto dove alloggiare! situato in centro, vicino ai pub, proprio sotto l ostello c è un pub con ottime birre, la pulizia è ottima e il personale è molto disponibile

Close to everything you could want to do. Super small rooms, but nothing unexpected. I liked that there were hair dryers in the bathrooms. I would stay here again.

위치가 찾기 쉽고 시내와도 가까움. 직원들 매우 친절. 제공되는 아침식사 만족스러움. 도미토리룸의 이층침대는 아래쪽과의 간격이 너무 좁아 일층에서 사용하는 사람은 불편함.샤워시설공간이 좁아 불편함. 옷등을 놓아둘 공간이 부족함

The hostel is very nice but It is more like a College Hostel... All crowd with people from College waking up at 7:20 AM... The Staff are awesome! Especially Marina who treated us very very well!!

Bar next to the hostel, great staff. Food at the bar is overpriced and the portions are small, however the environment is hard to beat and you will be sure to meet many new people and enjoy a good night out. Great staff and a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

Very dirty (with insects in bathrooms), very noisy - restaurant and pub open till 2-3 a.m. every day, artificial leather on mattresses - not possible to sleep at least good, 3 toilets and 3 showers for girls and boys, respectively for at least 60-70 people. Hostel is open 24 h - not closing doors in dormitories and entrance to the hostel - we felt very unsafe. People who were in the hostel were at least strange. No good place to eat and spend time in hostel - and prohibition to eat and drink in dormitories. Breakfast - I really don't believe that Italian people drink so awful coffee I eating old bread with butter and marmalade.

noise and cold

The place is very noisy specially at night, because there is a bar downstairs and a train line very much close to the rooms. Despite the fact that it is close to nice places and the staff is friendly, it is not a clean hostel, specially the bathrooms. During the summer, two fans, one in the ceiling, were not enough. We don´t recommend this place!

non si puo chiudere occhio a causa del locale al piano di sotto, e dei treni che passano a 2 centimetri dal dormitorio. Ci sono 4 frigor ma solo mezzo è a disposizione degli ospiti.

un bell'ostello, vicino all'areoporto. peccato per il caldo e i letti cigolanti e il rumore del ventilatore. per il resto ottimo.

The hostel is located next to a railway line, so when the train pass you notice that. They have a big bar, a lot of people go in the night. I think there´s no hostel options in general, so this one is ok.

Mycket trevligt ställe, rent och fräscht och med trevlig personal. Fanns både ett bra kök och trevliga almänna utrymmen.

Le point négatif est la présence du bar très bruyant jusqu'à 2h du matin : impossible de dormir !! Et ambiance du dortoir aléatoire (alcooliques...)

Non potevamo trovare di meglio a catania, c'era tutto quello che potrebbe servire per passare una bella vacanza!!!Grandissimi

l'agorà hostel sicuramente è il posto dove prenotare se si è di passaggio a catania. la sua posizione nella città è fantastica, presenta una quantità enorme di servizi per gli ospiti e anche un ottimo bar e ristorante, ricchi di pasti e cocktails particolari. il lunedì sera diventa il centro nevralgico di catania e la piazza in cui si trova si riempie di catanesi, il che significa che è un posto perfettamente integrato nella città. al di sotto dell'ostello ci sono delle bellissime grotte naturali, e di fronte i resti delle terme degli antichi romani. il clima al suo interno è molto cordiale e lo staff è pronto in ogni momento a fornire aiuto e indicazioni. l'unica pecca è che a fine luglio si muore di caldo nelle stanze (in particolare la twin) e forse servirebbero ventilatori più potenti!!

It´s pitty, that the entertainment can´t be rated as 120%.

We very very amazed of Catania and the neighbouring areas.

Cheap and friendly pension in center of Catania. Noise in the evening isn't so disturbing.

Aceptable en casi todos los niveles aunque el personal de la recepcion se descata por sobre todas las cosa en cuanto a la amabilidad y la predispociosion para ayudar al turista.

Great and very helpful staff! Location very good in the center and trips to Etna are easily organized from hostel. Breakfast was included and suprisingly good for a hostel breakfast! I would stay there again!

Not bad. Small and cramped beds but the breakfasts were good. Bar area also a big plus. Best thing is the staff will organise discount tours to Mt Etna and this makes the hostel a worthwhile option.
