Pretoro is in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo, at the foot of the eastern slopes of the Majella massif.
By car from Pescara: we suggest to drive to Francavilla al Mare on state road SS16, then take state road SS263 towards Val di Foro (Foro Valley) which will take you to Pretoro.
By car from Rome: 1) drive along highway A24 Rome-L'Aquila, then change direction towards Pescara on highway A25. Take the Chieti exit, keep driving on state road SS81 towards Guardiagrele and then take the exit of Fara Filiorum Petri. From there, state road SS263 will take you straight to Pretoro; 2) A25 dir. Pescara exit Alanno / hull, and then continue for Lettomanoppello Passo Lanciano
By car from Naples: A1 exit Caianiello, dir. Venafro, SS85, SS158, SS652, cross S. Angelo del Pesco, SS558 of new SS652, SP113, SR84, SS81, SP43 - Bari: A14 exit Pescara Sud, SS263 dir. Fara Filorium Petri, and then Pretoro Passo Lanciano.
By car from Ancona: A14, exit A25 Alanno / hull, and then continue for Lettomanoppello Passo Lanciano;the Vomano Montorio, follow the SS 80 to the junction for Pietracamela and Prati di Tivo and after about 10 km of road.
By airplane you can reach the airport using the Abruzzo region of Abruzzo in Pescara or the airports of Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.
By train you can get to the stations of Central Pescara or Chieti Scalo, from which you can continue with the regional bus ARPA.
