Dam Hotel **

I had no problems at all with this hotel, as far as fun factor and atmoshere it was just a building that you placed your luggage and slept at night, what more realy do you need when you are traveling a foriegn country

Un discreto posto, in zona centrale, vicino a piazza Dam e a 2 passi dalla Stazione Centrale. Molti locali, ristoranti e servizi nei dintorni. Personale sempre cortese e disponibile. Peccato la scarsità di informazioni sulla posizione dell'hotel non chiaramente indicata sulla strada, e l'assenza di una reception diretta, (è necessario rivolgersi a quella dell'ostello accanto, della stessa proprietà).

Ci è toccata una camera un po' stretta per 2 persone, ma almeno era pulita.

Ottimo per la posizione centralissima, ha però molte scomodità: stanze piccole, una ripida scalinata strettissima per arrivare alle camere, sbocchi del sottostante ristorante cinese proprio contro le finestre, termosifoni ad ebollizione. In compenso staff disponibilissimo e reception 24h/24h

Posizione da urlo, un po spartano ma comodo e pulito !!! Per chi cerca solo un appoggio è fantastico (considerati anche i prezzi)!!!

La zona es estupenda, muy cerca de la estación, la Plaza Damm y el barrio rojo. Hay tiendas, restaurantes, bares y cofeeshops al lado. Estaba bastante limpio, aunque la última noche no nos hicieron las camas y las literas tenían grafitti por la parte de abajo.El baño era bastante grande. El hombre que nos recibió era bastante borde y en general muy poco amables. Tiene una habitación para dejar el equipaje. Las escaleras son infernales, pero como en todo Ámsterdam.

the hostel is very very central, every day the staff come into the room to clean everithing. the hostel is clean and not so old. there aren't noises in the night time. perfect to stay a few days in amsterdam and use the room just to go sleep

esta bien lo ke nos cobraron 20 euros de tasas ke no nos habian dixo y me cobraron la noxe antes de ir por tarjeta de credito el importe de la primera noxe y nos comentaron que era un tipo de fianza ke me devolverian en siete dias.. espero que asi sea y que a al otra se explike mejor en vuestra pagi

Es ideal para gente que viaja en grupo ( 4 a 6 ) ya que tienes habitaciones con 4 y 6 camas y baño privado,ademas esta ahi mismo, en el centro de todo y el precio es insuperable, asi que lo recomiendo a todo el mundo, ahora si tienes mucho dinero y no te importa como gastarlo puedes ir a cualquier otro lugar, que alli hay muchos.

Semplice, ottima posizione e ottimo per i soggiorni a breve termine

esta situado en un lugar estrategico para ver la ciudad, esta a un paso de todo, las escaleras un poco empinadas pero el resto perfecto

Para mi el hostal estuvo perfecto, ya que solo iba a dormir y bañarme. Esta en el centro cerca de todo, la habitacion calida, el agua caliente, toallas limpias. Lo recomiendo.

It's good only for the position and for the prices.

My room was little, and not very confortable.(if it rains it's horrible because the water enters in your room!!)

well if we leave out the mouse that was living with us in the room, everything was fine.

No TV, stinky rooms. Very good location.

35 euro in per una doppia con bagno a due minuti a piedi da p.zza Dam non è male...ma nel weekend le tariffe salgono parecchio. Per chi cerca solo un tetto per dormire è perfetto.

they sent me to an other hotel...far from the centre of amsterdam..but it was wonderful

super bem localizado. próximo a tudo. banheiros excelentes. tem elevador mas é restrito, só pode ser usado se tiver carregando mala. ótima escolha.

Ostello modesto,personale non molto ospitale, posizione ottima...per chi non ha molte pretese, ma comunque in definitiva sufficiente...

The place is very central and no noise at night. breakfast could be better and locker was not funccioning, but staff is friendly and ready to help in case of need.

there is no lobby with tv or place to be and read apart from the rooms, that are small but with tv (remote control was not funccioning, even with battery change). If you want to be in the hotel it is possible to stay in the pizzeria which is in the same place as the reception of the hotel and have a drink or a meal, watching the street and canal or chatting.

The elevator is a good functionality, you don´t need to carry the baggage by the stairs.

don´t forget to take your shower gel and shampoo/conditioner, because there isn´t any in the private wc of your room, only towels (clean but small).

I enjoyed the staying and recomend it for those who want privacy, a good night sleep and being close to everything in the city, without having to take the tram for coffeeshops, museums and so.

le stanze nn sono male e la posizione è perfetta 200 metri sia dalla stazione che dal centro. L'hotel è gestito da cinesi e nel mio caso ci hanno messo in una stanza da 8 invece che da 6 con la promessa che saremmo stati soli in camera cosa che nn si è verificata visto che il mattino seguente sono arrivato 3 californiani.

It is a well located Hostel but the rooms are not widely enough. Also the bathrooms are not so very clean and its quite expensive in relation with what you receive.

Situato logisticamente in posizione eccellente. Buona la colazione.
