About us
Capital backpackers is a newly refurbished property situated in the heart of Edinburgh. It was previously a hostel operated under different management. We operate a self service check in and check out. This means you receive an email with your check in information shortly before check in time, this allows complete flexibility and ignore waiting around for the receptionist to check you in. We are very open and friendly and believe in safe, simple affordable accommodation.

1 x 10 bed female only room
1 x 10 bed mixed room
2 x 12 bed mixed room
2 x 8 bed mixed room
2 x 6 bed mixed room

All rooms have ensuite, with the exception of room 1. We haveWe have a kitchen with seating area located at lower ground level. Check in is from 2 PM until 10 PM. You can check out any time prior to 10 AM on your day of departure. You are welcome to come and go as you please during your reservation with us, we do not have a curfew.

Services and activities
We offer free wifi in the common areas of the backpackers. The kitchen area is spacious and provides ample seating to accommodate breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks!

Surroundings
There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk from the backpackers with a larger shop approximately 10 minutes away. Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland - We have hundreds of bars, pubs and clubs. The backpackers is ideal located to explore the city.

Why should you stay with us
We have only recently opened and the building has that new feel to it. We have tried to create an environment that will offer a friendly approach yet, a private one if you decide.
