About us
“Welcome under the coolness of your shadow” This is the literal translation of the name Yokam, in Serere’s language.
Yokam tourist complex, equipped with a cottage and a travel agency, is located on the edge of the Delta of Sine Saloum, on the outskirts of the village of Palmarin Facao.
All our Staff will welcome you with great pleasure and will organize for you the path you will love to undertake to discover the Senegal in all its diversity!

Surroundings
Our cottage is surrounded by landscapes of African savanna, located directly on a beautiful and long fine sandy beach, truly paradisiacal. Not far away, there are large mangrove forests (aquatic plants) that can be explored with a kayak or piragua, many different species of mammalian animals (jackals, monkeys, hyenas) free in their natural environment and also many different species of typically African birds.
