Alternative Creative Youth Hostel Barcelona

This place is the absolute best hostel in Barcelona. It is incredibly easy to meet people and make friends and the staff is always ready to tell you anything you want to know. You can't beat the location either. All around awesome experience.

Hi, a clean hostel with friendly staff and a good location. The guest accept, that it is not a party hostel but a very fiendly hostel. For me, it was a great place, to experience the City and yhe area around.

とても清潔で快適で最初は3日泊まる予定だったのですが、最終的に居心地がよく立地も素晴らしいのでバルセロナでの滞在期間中すべての宿泊はここにしました。また、スタッフもすごく優しくて、親切で最高でした。またバルセロナに来たらこのオルタナティブユースに泊まりたいと思います。

連泊しましたが大満足です。

ネットも無料だしwifiも使えるしスタッフが親切だしまた利用したいです。

ひとつだけ問題あるとすれば、入り口がわかりにくい！初めてだとまず迷います。看板だしてほしいですね。

3泊しましたが、立地が非常に良く、スタッフの方もとても親切です。ただし、看板等が無いので最初呼び鈴を鳴らすまでに迷いました。笑

ウォーキングツアー等も行っていてなかなか楽しいです。

Perfect place, I can only recommend to all visitors that are for the first time in Barcelona! Kind and very helpful staff!

The Alternative Creative Youth Home is the best youth home I have been at and I recommend it to everyone. People might say that it is more expensive than other youth homes but for the services you get it is really worth it.

The people there are very nice and do everything to please you. They even gave me all the best things to do and the places to go in Barcelona which helped me a lot ;)

Is quit expensive hostel. They charge for everything. We got charget for sheets 2.5 EUR and for leaving the bags 3 EUR (and just till 22). The rooms have no privacy because the doors have no lockers. The rest was ok. Excelent location.

設備もきれい、スタッフも親切で快適なホステルでした。場所もカタルーニャ広場のそばなので街中どこにいくのにも便利です。オーナーが日本語を話せるので日本人には安心だと思います。

Ostello bellissimo, atmosfera incredibilmente familiare, tutto assolutamente pulito, ordinato e comodissimo come posizione, staff gentile, disponibile, sorridente..ottimo, ragazzi siete formidabili! Torneremo di cuore. Un abbraccio.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location right across the plaza from where the aerobus drops you off. But, a few hidden costs...holding fee, blanket fee, towel..etc

wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. es fehlte nur an einem größeren Aufenthaltsraum und einer vollständigeren Küche, in der man sich mal etwas zu essen hätte machen können. ebenso wäre ein esstisch schön gewesen. aber da personal war einsame spitze!!!

ホテルに到着しすぐにホテル周辺の名所等を地図で紹介してくれたり、スタッフはフレンドリーでかなりいい感じでした。シャワーを浴びる時間やインターネットをする時間に制限があったりしますが、不便を感じることもなく、場所的にもかなり好条件。もしバルセロナに行く友達がいたら、ここを勧めます。

Mi sono fermato solo 4 giorni ma devo dire che mi sono trovato davvero bene, tutti disponibilissimi e simpaticissimi, persone che ti mettono comletamente a tuo agio. La posizione è stupenda perchè è praticamente in Piazza Catalunya per cui ad un passo da tutto. Se ritornerò a Barcellona "ALTERNATIVE CREATIVE YOUTH HOME" sarà sicuramente il mio alloggio.

This Hostel is in a perfect location. Middle in Catalunya where the trouble is :-)

The staff ist very friendly. Cost & performance ratio ist good. Close-by a superstore with cheap prices. Only the washbasin is to small :-)

Location's superb, 3 mins walk from Catalunya metro at La Ramblas, 24-hr staff's very helpful with itinerary suggestions and maps. Rooms & shared toilets are clean, kitchen's very small but adequate, they sell 1.5l water just for 1 euro. Only downsides are that we have to pay for bedsheets (2.5euro), leaving luggage til 10pm (3euro), and no breakfast, while we had all three for free in other hostels we stayed in Vienna & Bergamo.

Good value. Great location. Kind and helpful staff. I definately recommend it.

I was very happy to spend my vacation in this hostel, people was very friendly and hostel is very clean and in a wonderfull position. Only one think is not so good, the washbowl in the bathroom is a little bit small but not so important.

Very clean and nice hostel where I felt really welcome! The owner really wants you to have a good time in Barcelona and gives lots of advise on what to do. Bad things were that it was quite cold, the showers weren't always warm and that smoking was allowed in the lounge. But don't let that put you off, it's a really good hostel!

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It was quiet and great to come home to after being out all day. It is in a good location and the people are friendly.

I found the hostel very clean, near the center of Barcellona, and full of nice people..but it's near a big street so I found it a bit noisy too!

I really hope there are hostals like this in all citys ´cause the atmosphere was great. This hostal is PERFECT for anyone travelling by there own ´cause I´ts real easy to make new friends here..

Very good location. Clean showers and toilets. A lot of good information and organization from Al. It feels like he cares about that the customers are enjoying there stay in Barcelona! Also a friendly mexican girl in the reception. Nice people on the hostel.

Super auberge dans le centre de barcelone avec un personnel super qui organise des petites sorties le soir!!!

Excellent location, near from the gotic neiborhodd and all the historic places in barcelona. besides, The beach is about 15 minutes walking.

Al is the manager of the places and is the best doing so.

If you want to enjoy barcelona i recommend this hostal as the best i've ever been.

The hostel is really close to the metro,buses,the Ramblas where all the action is.The owner is a really cool guy,he provides u with a map with all the good places to go and has discounts to the best night clubs and restaurants.The rooms and toilets r really clean,the staff is superb!Safety is maximal!They even organize night outs and those were the best parties we had in Barcelona!!Best hostel i have stayed in and I ll definitely go back there thank u Al and all the staff!

........definitely gonna come back......the position couldnt be better......alex is the walking treasure of information.......we met a lot of fine people from all over the world.....

I was on a rush, but from what I experienced that night, it has a great atmosphere and alot of personality! Great location right next to Praca da Catalunha. Also very clean and very cool staff. Thanks!

This is the best hostel I've ever been to. It is a short walking distance from Las Ramblas (the centre of town), it was always very clean, and the staff was very personable. Best of all, there was a really friendly and social atmosphere. Great for anyone travelling alone and looking to make new friends in Barcelona.
