HOW TO GET TO BERGAMA CITY CENTRUM FROM NEW OTOGAR FOR TOURIST WHO TRAVELS BY BUS.
A new bus station opened up in 2007, located outside of the town, placed at crossroad that two main roads connect there. One of them comes from Canakkale direction and the other one comes from Izmir-Efes direction . Travelers may take the advices suggested below according the direction.
FROM CANAKKALE;
The busses leave you at the otogar-busstation..

1- you can take a minibus(day time),or shuttle of municipality..Gett off the midibus at the last stop where is next to Red Basilika..We are 200 mts away from Red Basilika towards Akropolis Hill ,on the way of Akropolis..
2-or you can take a taxi
FROM IZMIR-EFES;
If you are coming from izmir direction; take the Metro or Anadolu bus company which will take you to till otogar and you will get on service midibus which bus companies provide for you free... The Service midibus goes till the old city center where Basalica is located. These both companies work directly for Bergama from the Izmir bus station, they have services every half an hour to Bergama till 19:00pm.
