Our hostel is 100 meters from Kings Cross train station and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the centre of Sydney city. At Chiliblue we try our best to provide you the lowest prices. International Passport holders Only ( AU & NZ passports are not accepted at this hostel)
Our hostel offers: Budget Doubles with duvets and blankets which can accommodate a maximum of 3 people. Dorm Rooms (from 4 to 10 beds, Loads of space) twins & triples are also available (triple is a double bed and a single bunk on top). Some Dorms with balconies and City Views. Private rooms have own mini-fridge, TV and DVD-Player

Feel at home and cook a meal in a modern, fully equipped kitchen. Court-yard with large communal table & Winter Heating. ChiliBlue offers plenty of chill-out space to read, sleep or drink!

Foxtel Cable TV – with all the bells and whistles! Watch your favourite movie, TV show (on Fox) or sport on a huge TV - open 24 hrs.

Whether you are coming for a night or two, or staying for longer you will find that ChiliBlue will provide you with a warm, friendly, clean and comfortable home away from home. Located on beautiful Victoria Street, ChiliBlue is moments away from the night life of Kings Cross and minutes away from the city centre. ChiliBlue is a great place from which to base your adventures in Sydney or to come home to after a long day/night.


Please note: Groups of more than 4 people need to contact us directly for approval a surcharge may apply for group bookings (minimum 25% and up to 300%).

New Year Policy:
There is a minimum stay please contact us for further details or book online now. We do not accept check-ins or check-outs on 30, 31st December and 1st January unless with prior approval and arrangement. Full payment is required on booking (50% on reservation and balance by 1 December). New Year bookings are not refundable. We strongly advise you to take out insurance.
Although the deposit to Booking agent maybe refundable according to their terms and conditions, the additional deposits/payments to the our hostel is not refundable – please consider this carefully when making a reservation and obtain travel insurance


We are a youth hostel & suitable to less than 30 years old. Our hostel is not comfortable for families or older travellers.

Our Hostel accommodates guests in small (2 bed) to large (10 bed) dorms. We also have some private rooms which cater to a maximum of 3 persons in the room.

Our accommodation is basic, clean and cosy. We offer a good breakfast from 7:30 am to 9:00 am
Our kitchen has cook tops (oven is disabled due to fire regulations), Microwave and cooking pots and pans. (Plates, knives and forks etc are available for free with a refundable deposit)

We offer free hotdog and movie night every week and have free cable TV.

Linen is provided free of charge and towels are available at a cost on request.

A free 3 hour walking tour is available daily from reception departing at 9:40 am
