交通路线(如何到达旅舍):

BY BUS: Sucre is positioned centrally in the south of Bolivia, and there're loads of different bus lines (=flotas) going to La Paz (on the way calling at Oruro and El Alto), Cochabamba (frequently written in it's short form, CBBA), Santa Cruz de la Sierra and to the Argentinian border at Villazon (with it's twin city La Quiaca on the Argentinian side, you just have to walk across a bridge to cross into the other country). These busses leave in the evening from about 5pm to 8pm, and arrive in the morning.

Small busses to Potosí leave during the daytime each 2 hours or so and take about 3 hours.

All buses arrive at the terminal; from there you can get to the center easily by micro (the small local busses). Just wave to stop one going to the Mercado Central (= central market), often displayed as M. Central in the windshield. Pay 1.50 Bolivianos to the driver when boarding. From the Mercado Central it's just a short walk; walk up Aniceto Arce straight on for two blocks, and you reach the Plaza 25 de Mayo, the central square. Take a right, follow the street for two blocks and turn left into Loa. We're house number 743.

Alternatively you can take a taxi; the price is 4 Bolivianos per person during daytime and 5 Bolivianos in the night for a trip within the center. Don't pay more, the prices are fixed ;) Exception: going to/from the airport is more expensive.

FLYING: Sucre boasts one of the most impressive airports worldwide. Joke. It has one gate, and is pretty tiny... It's short name is SRE. But nevertheless, there're relatively cheap flights daily to Cochabamba (CBB), La Paz (LPB) and Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Viru-Viru International, or VVI, is the bigger aiport, the smaller one is El Trompillo), depending upon the season starting from 50 USD one-way. Companies flying here are Aerosur, TAM(Transporte Aero Militar, the civilian branch of the airforce, it's NOT the same as the Brazilian TAM) and BoA. TAM is also going to Tarija and Cobija twice a week.

An international airport is planned, but as far as now, if you want to fly internationally you have to change in La Paz, Cochabamba or Santa Cruz. From there you'll find quite a lot of international flights inside South America and the US, as well as some to Europe.

From the airport you can take a micro (one of the small local busses) to the city center, the price is also 1.50 Bolivianos per person, or a taxi, which costs 30 Bolivianos, no matter with how many people you sit inside.
