Kip and Kaboodle Mahone Bay/Lunenburg Hostel

Kip & Kaboodle is a small hostel located on the road between Mahone Bay and Lunenburg - along Nova Scotia's Bluenose Coast/Lighthouse Route. Our quiet country hostel has three rooms with fully-made beds: a co-ed dorm, a private double and a private triple. There is a computer and free wifi, barbecue, firepit, full kitchen, and even a lobster pot just in case you would like to try some Atlantic lobster without paying restaurant prices. There are also bikes available to rent on site, and we give discounts to people who are travelling by bike!

In this unique part of Nova Scotia, you won't find a cheaper bed - and with so much to do here you really shouldn't miss it! Sea kayaking, sailing, beaches galore, farmers markets, art galleries, museums, tall ships, awesome hiking trails ... the list goes on & on!

We are fairly flexible with check-in and check-out times and we always have pancake mix and maple syrup on hand for your breakfast if you like that kinda thing. Local provincial tax of 15% is included in our prices listed on this site. Also, we offer various discounts - people travelling by bike get a discount, as do large groups and/or people staying for 4 or more nights. The discounts cannot be applied from this booking engine - just speak to us when you get here and the discount will be applied to the balance owing. Any questions, just ask :)
