About us
This historic building was refurbished into a charming 5 room hostel with Caribbean flair in Nov 2014. Our friendly staff is anxious to share the unique beauty of Sarapiqui with you. Our river fromt property gives you the opportunity to become one with nature, rest, relax, and get away from it all... or sign up for an amazing white water rafting or thrilling canopy zipline tour, or any of a number of nature and cultural discovery tours.

Accommodation
We have 5 rooms. They are all on the 2nd floor, with shared or private balconies over looking our gardens and common areas. Each room is equipped with 2 bunk beds; either 4 twin beds, or 1 double bed and 3 twins. Can be reserved as private rooms, shared mixed dorms, or shared female room. 3 rooms have private baths and the other 2 rooms share a bathroom.
Our rooms are clean and comfortable and have bedding, towels, a closet, and a night stand.

Services and activities
We have free wifi in the common areas, and if you are lucky you may get some signal from your rooms. We have a large common area, riverfront dining area, shared kitchen and bbq, free lockers for your valuables, a friendly staff available from 8 am to 8 pm to help you reserve all tours and transportation you may need. You can also swim in the gorgeous Sarapiqui River just on our property limits.
There is a full restaurant located just 300 meters (3 blocks) away.

Surroundings
The area is under-developed, making for a unique authentic experience in Costa Rica. It draws hundreds of researchers, scientists, movie makers, and writers each year, to study and enjoy the incredible amount of biodiversity found in this unique corner of pardise.
Also one of the best white water rafting rivers in the country passes right behind the property. A little lower down, the river is great for safari floats and nature discovery motor boat safaris. Night safaris are also available.
