About us
At Stray Cat Hostel we endeavour you to have authentic, creative and engaging travel experiences. Here we, the staff, are travelers' connection to the city. We are here to present you different ways to enjoy .


500 metres to Central Avenue. Walking distance to the bus stops which can take you through the country.
There are different types of rooms , single, double , triple rooms and also dorms with four beds, mixed or female options.

Stray Cat Hostel is a social hostel.

We have a cozy common room with artistic touches. Painted murals by different guests and artists.

We also have a fully equipied kitchen attached to it. We serve a full all you can eat breakfast every morning from 8 till 11 AM.



Surroundings
Our location is just 600 meter, 10 minutes walk from main city center, and central market of San Jose.

More important we have in walking distance all bus stops for different parts of Costa Rica. This is very convenient for travellers which wants to travel around Costa Rica. Tica Bus, Bus to Jaco, Puerto Viejo, Manuel Antonio, Puntarenas, Tamarindo,Gguanacaste, Nicoya...
