Sueño Celeste (Sky Blue - Dream) is a small hostel with four nice decorated rooms with private bathrooms and personalized service, in a green and quiet environment with a nice pool for relaxing after the hike. Our breakfasts are famous; made of fresh and home made products you will have them watching the panoramic view on Volcano Tenorio and a lot of colored birds flying around.

We are located 2 miles south of Bijagua, at 1.500 ft above see level and close to the entrance of Volcano Tenorio National Park and the famous Rio Celeste (you will need about 6 hours to visit that park).

Meet here in Bijagua the authentic Costa Rican “Pura Vida” life, its people and its specialties.

On your way between Arenal or Monteverde and the beaches of the Pacific, it is the perfect place for memorable experiences.

Sueno Celeste is Officially Recongnized by Hostelsclub as Eco-friendly.

* We use energy-efficient light bulbs.
* We use special electric water heaters (They limit the temperature, ans heat only when in use).
* We have reforested the property with local species, fruit trees, flowers that attract birds, butterflies and insects.
* We use solar lamps for a path between parking and rooms.
* We have 2 speed water flush at the toilets to save water.
* We promote the social activities of our village.
* We use local people for the constructions and maintenance.
* We recycle aluminum, plastic, Tetra Bricks and glass helping at the same time the local high-school to build more facilities.
* We do not run a restaurant (unless for breakfasts) to help local people.
* We buy all what we can by local little producers (eggs, fruits, cheese).
* We use first class bio degradable products to clean rooms, bathrooms and house..
