Casa Hostal Colonial Las Margaritas

Central location, beautiful Casa with very helpful and friendly owner - would definitely stay again and recommend. Only downside was old air conditioning unit in room which was unable to keep room cool some nights (stayed in June)

Utterly charming - this casa exceeded my expectations and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Only a 2 - 3 minute walk from the 2 main squares in Trinidad too.

Mil por mil recomendable. Janio y su familia son encantadores y nos hicieron estar como en nuestra casa. De verdad que fue una estancia ideal y uno de los mejores recuerdos que nos llevamos de nuestra estancia en Cuba. Gracias por vuestra hospitalidad, amigos.

It was a really really wonderful stay,we stayed at margaritas for 3 nights,Janio and his wife were really good hosts.Delicious lobster and nice breakfasts will always be on our minds.Janio was so helpful and warm,i can't forget to mention his kids and grandma :)

We hebben een geweldige tijd in casa Las Margatitas gehad. De kamer was super en de maaltijden geweldig. Ook heeft men ons goed geholpen met uitstapjes in en buiten de stad.

Unfortunately I have to give a neutral recommandation, since we where actually not staying here. CASA was overbooked, so they refered us to another CASA. Overbooking is of course negative, so they should try to avoid that in the future.

Similar to a review on trip advisor we called to check this reservation the day before arriving and all was ok. When we arrived we were taken to a different casa, the sister of the lady from las margaritas. We booked a room with private balcony which this didn't have. We went to las margaritas to check&we were also told that there was a grandma in a hospital so we had to stay at the other casa, much less attractive. They said if we didn't like we could go there on the second night - not sure why as the grandma would still be sick in hospital then!? And they said yamiha doesn't like telling it over the phone....it should be the customers choice whether they rebook as we would have chosen somewhere else! Anyway we obliged at the other hostel, annoyed of course but sympathetic. Then we went to leave, after paying a 10% deposit to secure the room and the sister said the deposit wasn't valid, it didn't go to her or las margaritas and we had to pay the full amount. Again it's not about the actual sum of money, but that we were sent to another casa, far less nice & then had to pay full price again! Like the tripadvisor review we did not trust the story and believe they overbooked&sent leftovers to their sisters casa Hostal rocaverde- we would be interested to know if this has happened to anyone else. We've rated 50% as we can't comment on the actual casa, apart from the reception where they told us we had to stay at the other casa.

Excellent place to stay in Trinidad. Very nice family, clean and neat facilities and a very plesant stay! Strongly recommended!

Familien var utrolig hjelpsom. De skaffet en mann til å passe på bilen om natten, serverte deilig frokost, ryddet og vasket. Vi hadde rom i første etasje, tror nok det øverste rommet var enda bedre.. Da vi først kom fram til casaen synes vi det så trist ut i gata der det lå, men da vi gikk inn åpnet det seg en oase. Absolutt å anbefale...

The website and the owner were not able to organize the reservation. The owner sent me to another place.

Its like a five start hotel, amazing, beatiful colonial house, the room has a private terrace with chairs to rest or dine, really good. not to miss
