Wonderful place to stay. We didn't expect anything for this price, but it was extremely good.

A very nice, friendly and helpful owner who even told us much things about the city. His English wasn't brilliant but very good to understand.

Beside that, the location couldn't be better. We didn't need to use the underground because we were in the middle of the centre. But still in a quiet street so during the night you won't be bothered by the citysounds.

If I'd go back to Budapest, I'd really go here again!

L'appartamento non era quello delle foto, ma comunque carino, confortevole, silenzioso e soprattutto centralissimo.

Molto disponibile e familiare il proprietario. Lo consiglio per coppie o amici non troppo pretenziosi, che intendano passare un breve periodo a Budapest.

Really nice place to stay. It was really clean and everthing we needed, was there. The location is really central and if I come to Budapest again, I will stay here!

they canceled my reservation 7 days before my arrival to Budapest due some technical problems??? , so i can not rate this Guesthouse..

Частные квартиры одного владельца. Я был обманут. Мне отказали в размещении только за 7 дней до приезда. Я был вынужден искать срочно другое размещение. Но все хорошее доступное было занято.

L'appartement est magnifique, très bien équipe et très proche du centre ville.

Ho trovato l'alloggio molto accoliente e pulito. La posizione é perfetta! È nel centro di Pest, vicino alla Basilica di Santo Stefano, un immenso monumento, che si può percepire da ogni angolo della città e con il quale é facile orientarsi per trovare l'alloggio. L'unica "pecca" é lo scarso inglese che parlano i proprietari, comunque molto disponibili e gentili.

We stayed here for 4 pleasant days, the appartment was smart, clean, confortable, perfect for a romantic holiday! The woody forniture kept the atmosphere warm. The owner was very kind and friendly, even if he spoke little english. The position is near to city center, it's very easy to get there by metro whose stop is just behind the guest house. Next time in Budapest we'll come back certainly. Thanks :) Enjoy it!

Cleanliness

1) We checked it 15 minutes early from the stipulated time. However, he haven even started cleaning our rooms and toilets. It was all in a mess. When we came, his reason was we checked in early. BUT let me ask u this question, How is it possible to clean 2 apartments with kitchens and toilets within 15 minutes?

2) We booked 2 rooms of 4 people each room. 4 of us had bed bugs bitten all over our bodies (3 separate beds OMG). 2 of us went to the doctor when we go back to our country.

3) We went to see doctor at a hospital which costs us 32000HUF or around 120 Euro.

Staff

1) That OLD man, seemingly nice, tried to cheat my change by giving me HUF while I paid in Euro.

2) He was good when he showed us where is the hospital when we had bed bugs all over us.

3) There is no lobby in this guesthouse, thus, we are unable to contact him, except through phone which costs us a lot.

4) He wanted to charge us for CLEANING FEE! It was the first time I ever heard of cleaning fee charged by hostels to its clients.

5) He stole our food utensils during the last day of our stay.

Position

1) It is near the st Stephen basilica. Near to all the main attractions at the pest side (Danube river, Parliament, Metro/Underground). However, food prices are expensive around that area. Basically, it is a tourist place.

2) Near to a hospital, around 3 minutes walk.

Atmosphere

1) People there are great! Except the owner of this hostel. The people would randomly come and ask you whether you need help or not if they see u with a map. And feel free to ask the locals there, its their pleasure to be able to help tourists.

Pošto smo susedna država, očekujem da bar i srpski bude na listi jezika na kojima se ostavlja mišljenje o smeštaju (meni lično ne smeta, ali ovde je toliko priče o pravima Mađarske manjine)! Smeštaj korektan ali za dve osobe (po našem mišljenu)iako smo uplatili -rezervisali za 4. Domaćin super korektan i ljubazan, sve čisto, pozicija kakva se samo poželeti može. Pošto smo kao porodica u apartmanu uglavnom spavali, a ostatak dana bili u obilasku, ovo nije nam mnogo smetalo, ali nekome je možda bitno. Apartman je skoro adaptiran, zapravo je reč o garsonjeri od nekih 15 kvadrata(kuhinja, kupatilo i nešto što pokušava da bude trpezarija cca 6m2) sa galerijom na kojoj su dva bračna kreveta izmedju kojih se jedva može proći, sa TV-om i kablovskom (nismo koritili). Adresa je Sas utca 9, na 30-tak metara od bazilike svetog Stefana. Sve turističke lokacije smo obilazili peške, pa ako vam veličina apartmana ne smeta, uštedećete pare na prevozu, biti u centru, a imati mir i tišinu noću. Market u susednom broju radi 24 sata, a ima još jedan u blizini. Wi-Fi signal može da se uhvati (free, provereno na iPhone-u). Nikavih drugih zamerki nemamo, želimo Vam dobar provod.

Limpio, céntrico. Un poco pequeño de más para 4 personas y el dueño no habla casi inglés por lo que fue difícil hacerse entender pero una vez hecho, muy servicial y atento.

This address and hostel is incorrect, we arrive at sas street but that we found anything, this is a house not a hostel, there aren't any signal of the hostel, this really disappointed us, and we had a serious problems with our travel.

We'd been stayed for 4 nights. The apartment is completely different from the pictures shown (probably they have more apartments), it was really small but functional. The owner is a very good person but speaks very little english. Very nice location (next to S.Istvan Basilica and 24h supermarkets)

Despite the good position (800 metres from the Parlament), we sleeped in a very small room with a loft in a terribly humid yard. By The second day all our cloathes were wet, as well as the towels and the bed sheets. We have been there in summer and the outside temperature was nearly 30 degrees.

Świetna lokalizacja i osobliwy charakter. Zdecydowanie polecam!

Studio avec mezzanine. Lit double sur la mezzanine et matelas double posé sur le plancher. Kitchenette pour se faire à manger et frigo. Petite table mais seulement deux chaises. Le tout est neuf. Propriétaire sympathique. The point fort: l'appartement est hyper bien placé (près de la basilique Saint Etienne) et a prix tout doux! Par contre si vous êtes en voiture, le stationnement n est pas donné, et la police ne fait pas de cadeaux...
