About us
Vibrant Iceland Hostel was opened in July 2017 by three best friends. Their goal: open a small, affordable hostel in the Greater Reykjavík area, offering a quality experience for travelers on a budget.

The state-of-the-art custom built bunk beds are designed and hand made in Iceland. They are made from steal frames and recycled wood. Our bunk beds feature deluxe spring mattresses and contain a built-in curtain for an added element of privacy when needed and an overhead reading light.

Accommodation

Our premium single enclosed bunk beds features deluxe mattress, privacy curtain and a reading light.

The bed is 90×200 cm (35.5 x 79 inches). Our single dorm rooms are 6, 8 and 12 bunk beds in each dorm room. Our dorms are all mixed shared dorm rooms but we also offer dorm room for girls only and private groups.

Our premium double enclosed bunk beds features deluxe mattress, privacy curtain and a reading light.

Surroundings

Vibrant Iceland Hostel is located in Hafnarfjordur, around 8 km (5 miles) from Reykjavik City Center, 40 km (25 miles) from the KEF International Airport. We are the ideal location for travelers who want to experience culturally rich and unique local scenes in addition to the large capital city of Reykjavik. Though off the beaten path, we are the perfect place for travelers who are looking to experience local culture in the capital with quick and convenient access to Iceland’s countryside.
