From the Airport:
This is a step by step description of the easiest, fastest (and cheapest) way to get from Dublin Airport to Garden Lane Backpackers:
1. Just outside the airport you need to take the bus Airlink 747 to-wards “Heuston Station”, it takes about 40 mins and costs 7 euros (12 euros for a return ticket).
2. You get off at High Street (stop number 1937 – The Liberties).
3. Once you get off, you follow the street the bus continues, then the road splits and you keep left on Thomas Street, there’s a SPAR on the way.
4. Then you will see Francis Street on your left (after the pharmacy but before the café), take it and follow the road until Carman’s Hall (on the right, opposite O’Sullivan’s Antiques). Take that street and keep walking until Ash Street (second on the right) and then immediately turn right again. You are now in Garden Lane and we are the only address in this small street.

From Busaras/Connelly Station
1. Walk down the street to Connolly Station
2. Take bus 27 towards Jobstown
3. Get off at Warrenmount, The Coombe
4. Walk back in the direction the bus came from and take a left on the Coombe
5. Take the second street right (Ash street)
6. Garden Lane is immediately on the third street to the right.

From Heuston Rail Station
1. Once you get off the station, take the street where the tram line is for about 6 minutes, walk to the direction opposite to the bridge (river Liffey)
2. Take left on Bow Lane West, near The Obelisk Fountain, walk for about 2 minutes until James Street.
3. At the Bus stop number 1996 take the routes 13 or 40 or 123 towards City Centre for 3 stops.
4. Get off at the bus stops number 1999 on Thomas street, Francis street and cross Thomas Street and walk back until Vicar Street, take that small alley to your left.
5. With a playground to your left and a sport court to your right you keep right and then the next left (Catherine street).
6. The next small street to your left is Garden Lane and we are the only address in this small street.

From O’Connell Street
The easiest and fast way from O'Connell Street to our hostel is by taking a bus. There is the number 13 heading to Grange Castle. It's leaving in front of the Citizen Information in O'Connell Street, after five stops you get off the bus at Liberties, Thomas Street. Look for a pharmacy to your left and you will see Francis Street take it and follow the road until Carman’s Hall (on the right, opposite O’Sullivan’s Antiques). Take that street and keep walking until Ash Street (second on the right) and then immediately turn right again. You are now in Garden Lane and we are the only address in this small street.
Make sure that you have coins for the bus. The drivers don't have change.
