Staying at Lloc d'Or is the best value for a lovely stay in Alghero: small but cosy; rooms are super clean; the breakfast they served was among the best we had during our roundtrip in Sardinia. Bathroom and kitchen had just been refurbished, so look new and clean. And last but not least, Gemma and her husband were such nice and excellent hosts: warm, welcoming and providing all the information you need. Highly recommended.

This is really a good Bed and Breakfast! The hostess is a really nice, kind woman. She lives herself in Alghero and knows the area and the island very well. She can advice you about all the nice spots to visit, knows which bus will take you there and knows good restaurants of trattoria which are cheap, but really good. The room itself is clean, in italian style and has all the facilities you need! You share a shower/toilet with one other room, but it was never occupied during our stay. So that's not a problem at all. Gemma arranges breakfast for you in the morning with the typical italian cornetto and an espresso or cappucino. Besides this are there more breads to choose from, a yoghurt, orange juice... all you need there will be! Besides the good services, the location of the B&B is very good, a 5 minute walk from the old town, 5 minutes on foot to the bus station and 1 minute from the boulevard! And... the price is really good too!! So you really will get value for your money!

It started with a warm welcome and continued with a breakfast with our wonderfull and helpful host. Advise, sotries about the island and nice company during breakfast and further a clean nice place to stay!

LLOC D'OR B&B is a great, clean, familiar place, where you feel at home the second you arrive there. It's quiet, and perfectly located close to both the historic centre and the beach. Gemma, Michele and their mother Francesca are doing a great job and we would love to come back anytime!

Eine spitze B & B Unterkunft. Die Besitzer geben sich richtig viel Mühe und es ist alles sehr gemütlich. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause.

We had a great stay at LLOC'D'OR B&B. Gemma was a great host. The breakfast was wonderful and access to the kitchen was a plus. Very clean and close to the city center and water. I highly recommend it!!!

mi piace il lloc d'or moltissimo. grote kamers, lekker ontbijt,lekker centraal,gemakkelijk bereikbaar, gastvrije ontvangst en tips, na 4 dagen heb je het gevoel dat je er woont en niet meer weg wilt. we komen zeker terug dank je wel(grazie) Gemma en Francesca, groetjes van(saluti di) Marlies, Maryse, Julia en Marga uit Groningen.

Hostal que està molt aprop del centre històric i d'una zona d'aparcament gran. Tracte molt càlid i agradable, ens hem trobat com a casa. La Gemma i la Francesaca s'esforcen per tenir contents als clients.

Bardzo sympatyczna, domowa, kameralna atmosfera. Niezwykle towarzyska szefowa-gospodyni: szykujcie się na opowiadanie jej przy śniadaniu o polskiej kuchni i zwyczajach :-) Do morza jakieś 400 metrów, do starego miasta max. 500 m.

EStá muy cerca del puerto y del casco historico de alghero. Los dueños son un encanto y te ayudan mucho a la hora de los lugares a visitar.El desayuno es muy completo. La limpieza y la estancia son de las mejores que he visitado. Es muy recomendable y el precio muy economico.

Great place to stay - Gemma was full of advice and ideas, lent us guide books and maps. Breakfast was great - as much as we could eat. Rooms nice and spacious with air conditioning which was great as it was chilly so we could heat our room up! Easy to park outside too. Fantastic place - highly recommended.

One of the best B&B I've ever been. Staff is friendly and gives you very good tips about the city (tours, eating, etc.) and the other areas as well. There are clean towels and hair dryer. The breakfast is great! We felt at home.
