Ostello Tramonti

It was great. Showers are little, so a little hard to follow the rules for drying yourself. A couple more casserole dishes for the microwave would be make a difference for those who intend to prepare their own meals. Would definitely recommend this hostel. The service was excellent.

A fairly large hostel, which invites to hang out in its comfy lounge, offers good valued food and a beautiful view over an unspoilt village in the Cinque Terre. Good location for starting hikes and avoid the crowds of the 5 main villages.

Great place to stay and they provide a very convenient shuttle. They also give very good advice to do the most of your journey at Cinque Terre.

La ubicación es perfecto para personas que les gusta la naturaleza y el senderismo. El personal muy amable y profesional. El albergue es igual como se ve en las fotos. Excelente servicio de autobus de/a Riomaggiore. La información de como llegar, horario de autobuses, etc muy detallada y precisa. Para adquirir la tarjeta Cinque Terre, billetes de tren y/o autobus les recomiendo la Tabaccheria de Gloria, recibirán un servicio de primera y además se evitarán largas colas.

Staff was really helpful and nice ! When you come for the first time at cinque terre, the first day it's complicated to understand everything but they will explain you everything. Also they organize bus shuttle to go to the first village of cinque terre and it is really nice. Food is also great, meeting people also, I had some great nights! But don't expect party all night long haha cinque terre is quiet place. Honestly I had a GREAT time. Only thing I would say it was "not good", is that the bathrooms are to share and there are not enough bathrooms, so you have to wait a lot, and also I would suggest to have bus shuttle a bit later to have the opportunity to see cinque terre by night. For the rest it was good.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, from the friendliness of the staff to their expert knowledge on the cinque terre was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble.

Wonderful experience staying at Ostello Tramonti! The hostel felt very home-y and I got to meet many awesome people that I have kept in touch with. The location of the hostel in Biassa I was weary of at first but it’s not hard to get to and the shuttle service makes getting into Riomaggiore really easy. The staff at the hostel is also really helpful! As soon as you walk in the door they are happy to help you with planning your stay which was really great.

One of the best hostel experiences I’ve had these last 4 months, will definitely be back one day. Thanks again for everything :)

Il y a une équipe formidable à votre écoute,sérieuse et compétente dans les renseignements pour vos parcours aux cinq terres. En ce qui concerne l hébergement, c est comme à la maison!!! Propre et conviviale!!!

Great place! The staff was very friendly, the bathrooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the food was great as well. The shuttles were very convenient!!

A good lower cost option for Cinque Terre region. The one issue we had is parking. They say they have a free lot but it is very small (maybe 10-15 spaces) so there was nothing available when we arrived. Street parking was a mess and we couldn't find anything nearby. We ended up having to walk very far and up a big hill with all our bags to get to the hostel. Also, the breakfast was not free or particularly cheap so we did not eat there.

Excellent facilities and information from the staff on the best ways to explore the Cinque Terre. The man at reception gave me a great hiking route to cover all five villages in one day. The hostel offered a social environment because everybody was there for the same reason - to experience the beautiful villages of the CT.

Splendida realtà che coniuga I prezzi abbordabili di un ostello con I servizi di un hotel di media categoria.Ottima la pulizia, Assunta è molto scrupolosa.Apprezzabile il servizio di navetta per Riomaggiore gratuito.Staff, in generale, molto disponibile e accogliente. Biassa poi è uno squisito paesino, dalla posizione strategica e invidiabile per gli appassionati di trekking, perché si trova tra il parco delle cinque terre, le terre minori dette Tramonti, e il parco regionale di Portovenere, per cuisi snodano da qui una varietà mozzafiato di sentieri di ogni tipo di difficoltà.

Not the most ideal location but a good hostel nonetheless. Found the staff a bit unfriendly at times. Was a bit frustrating that there were only two power sockets in a room of four people

I enjoyed my stay here. It was very clean and quiet. Do be aware that the buses only run at certain times & the hostel is in Biassa, which can be reached by public bus & hostel shuttle at specific times throughout the day. The hostel itself was awesome, the shuttle was quick and cheap to Riomaggiore. Enough bathrooms, clean, and a cafe / restauarant with mostly affordable food.

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Personnel très sympa. Les repas servis étaient excellents, l'ambiance très agréable.

This place is perfect to discover the cinque terre and the area around Portofino.

The music ist a bit loud at night

Schönes Hostel mit guter Atmosphäre, das ideal für einen Besuch von Cinque Terre mit dem eigenen Auto ist. Gutes Frühstück für 4,50 € (Heißgetränk, Brot mit Nutella oder Marmelade, Joghurt mit frischem Obst, Muffin). Tolle Aussicht (aber kein Meerblick). Freundliches und motiviertes Personal, das gute Tipps gibt. Empfehlung!

Ostello Tramonti was a standard, large size impersonal hostel. They close for cleaning in the afternoon, a pro and con I suppose, because it is not friendly to the traveler but it does leave the space very very clean! The distance was too far from Cinque Terre, they do offer a shuttle, but only at certain times and you must schedule and pay for in advance. I do admit the common room has a killer view of the town (not in cinque terre proper). We had our own food and hoped to prepare it at the hostel, but were provided with 1 mini fridge (for the entire hostel) and 1 electric water kettle (for which the faucet was on the opposite side of the building), obviously trying to get you to buy their cafe breakfast (which looked alright, but not particularly worth €5). We left grateful for the room, but very happy to move on.

Honestly wonderful. One of my favorite parts of cinque terre was the hostel! Our chef was absolutely amazing and charming. Would 100% recommend!

The staff was funny and friendly, the location was quiet and quaint a short shuttles ride from Cinque Terre, the food in the hostel's restaurant was absolutely affordable and delicious!! I wish I'd been there more than only two nights. Would recommend.

Our stay was excellent. The shuttle is super easy and will take you to Cinque Terre and pick you up every day. The staff is amazing, and the food in the hostel is the best I have had in Italy. Highly recommend. It is nice to stay outside the bustle of the five cities, and Biassa is beautiful on its own.

Nicest hostel I have ever been in. The facilities are clean and every kind of service you may need is offered. The environment is very good and the staff are hard-working and kind. I spent there one month. Best wishes for all the staff!

This is a great place to visit if you're visiting Cinque Terre! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the shuttle service they provided to Riomaggiore was awesome. The rooms were nice, and I met so many great people at the hostel! The on-site restaurant was great and reasonably priced as well. The only thing I had issues with was the wifi, it was spotty when everyone was using it at night. Despite that one issue, literally everything else was amazing and I'd highly recommend this place to anyou travellers on a budget! Also, as a solo female traveller, I always felt safe and welcome in my room so I'd also recommend it for solo travellers as well.

This hostel exceeded my expectations. The staff is very professional and friendly. They have their own canteen and the food they cooked was really nice and inexpensive. The dinning and lounge areas are very comfy with wooden tables and armchairs. The view from the window is just gorgeous. This place feels like a nice hotel rather than a hostel. Totally recommended.

But it's not close to anything except a walk.

They do a great job of advising how and what to do and lay on regular transport.

It is a very nice hostel. The staff was very helpfull. They told me everything about the hikes and gave advice on things to do during my stay. They suggested walking to Portovenere, which was a very nice walk and I liked the village very much (just as beautiful as Cinque Terre but less touristic).

The food at the hostel was delicious. The common room was good to meet new people (I was travelling alone).

The shuttle bus worked well for me.

Auberge sympa, pratique, avec une navette qui fait l'aller retour jusqu'à Riomaggiore au pied de l'auberge. Parking gratuit juste devant. Les moins un peu bruyant et des insectes volants le soir dans les chambres qui piquent pas mais un peu dérangeant.

Awesome way to see Cinque Terre! The staff was very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating when we ended up arriving outside of check-in hours due to a train strike in Italy. Very clean and excellent food in the restaurant upstairs. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Only downside is not having a kitchen, otherwise great hostel

We had a great stay here! The location is further out of the way than we had hoped, but the shuttle service was convenient. It was clean for the most part, but the bathrooms got pretty gross. Also it was very loud at night, which was frustrating to those who wanted to wake up early for hiking! Staff was great as well!

The guys in the kitchen made some of the best dishes we ate in Italy!

The Hostel Tramonti is a nice place to stay if your plan consists of spending the whole day outside and you only need a place to sleep and to clean up. It has nice facilities and common areas, specially the dinning rooms, because they have views to the center of Biassa and the mountains. They have plenty of bathrooms and showers, so there isn't much queue (considering it was May and not high season yet).

One of the main advantages it's the price and the shuttle bus to Riomaggiore (10 min aprox). It's very hepful. The thing is you must reserve the time you prefer every day. The breakfast and dinner offered have a competitive price compared to the coastal famous towns of cinque terre.

Generally is a very good place to stay if you travel in a budget or with a car (they have parking lot and it's very hard to park and expensive in the coast).

C'est vraiment une auberge pour les jeunes. Beaucoup de bruit et salle de bain/toilette à des étages différents.

This hostel is amazing. Best I've ever been too. We got rained out for a day in Cinque Terre and spent almost the whole day at the hostel and we had a great time. The FOOD at this hostel is some of the best I've had in Italy. The chef is incredible - makes delicious breakfast and fantastic dinner (which we had the night we got rained in).

Very very nice dinning place and food. Comfortable sleeping place

Although the sleeping rooms are the very basics, they are clean and comfortable. The common rooms are bright and immaculate. There are 3 showers and 3 toilet areas on the second floor (probably the same on the first). They are the bare minimum, but clean. A shuttle runs frequently in the morning and evening between Riomaggiore and the hostel and us convenient. The food is OUTSTANDING! All freshly made, inexpensive and delicious. Highly recommended!

The hostel is in the town of Biassa, just outside of cinque Terre. Although it is not walking distance from riomaggiore, the hostel and city provide frequent and convenient transport between the two! Highly recommend staying here. Staff are awesome and genuinely helpful and care about what they do!
