Very peculiar place. In the room are quasi artistic furniture, exactly bed, 2 small tables and old chair. No table, no glass, no mirror. I guess somebody started to arrange this place, but not finished. The staff very nice, but... Sleep in the hall and sometimes don't understand english. In a way, I am going to return to this place becouse the reltionship between price, view and general comfort is quit well. Dorota

Está en general excelente, es pequeño por lo cual puede contribuir a que se escuche más el ruido dr otros huéspedes. Pero de ahí en fuera, súper limpio y bien ubicado

Estaban arreglando la fachada y se veia raro por fuera, pero por dentro la habitación era grande, luminosa, cómoda y limpia. Bien ubicado.

El lugar está muy limpio. El personal es bastante atento y están disponibles las 24 horas. Está muy cerca de la estación La Termini y de allí se puede tomar bus para visitar los lugares turísticos. El valor está muy bien. Además cuenta con aire acondicionado y WiFi.

Mancava il sapone per la doccia, il minifrigo non funzionava e il balcone era in comune con un'altra stanza. Al check-in non risultava l'anticipo di quasi 8 euro e abbiamo dovuto pagare il prezzo intero. Infine colazione non inclusa, nonostante quello che ho letto nei commenti. Però il posto è adatto per chi non ha altre pretese che avere un appoggio a Roma. Vi consiglio di non dimenticare il foglio della prenotazione.

Excellent location. Less than 5 mins walk from the Termini station, so easily connected to any site by metro. Good Staff , friendly and helpful.
couldn't find a coffee machine in the hostel. but coffee bars can be found near by.

Owner/reception very nice,helpful & friendly.
Room itself was clean but bathroom was quite used. It looks better on pictures.
wifi was there but it wasnt working properly as so the fridge.
Good that room was cleaned every day, we also had towels changed.
Great location, but not so quiet.
If you accept those shortcomings I can recommend :)

Limpo, o responsável pela recepção muito prestativo oferecendo que eu ficasse no quarto até meu horário para o aeroporto. Muito bem localizado, proximo a estação Termini. Excelente, super recomendado!

We had a great time in casa di penelope rooms werecompletely refurbished as described and really clean.The room is cleaned by the staff every single day. Its more like a hotel than a hostel.

Muito bem localizado. Somente há 3 quadras da Roma Termini, o que facilitou o deslocamento para os pontos turisticos de Roma. Encontrei uma brasileira alertou sobre a região ser perigosa à noite. Eu, particularmente não percebi nada diferente do Brasil.

During my 1-week stay, I found staff very helpful, providing clean room & linens; bed is soft & comfortable that can help to relieve tiredness during trip; room with good lightings & large windows; easy to find, just near the train station hub

all of this is good room is very big,clean near train station and conveneien except about wifi internet is serve about 1st floor (main room) but he have any room in this Bld. Anyway i think i really reccomment for every traveller

A little hard to find it (the "reception" is on 1st floor). Room was nice and clean also the bathroom. Each day was made a bed and empty trash. Staff was kind. Hotel is about 3 minutes by walk form Subway (Termini Line A/B), Railway station and bus stop for journey to airport. (Fiumicino,Ciampino) Me and my girlfriend were really satisfied We didn't have a breakfast so I can't rate this. I recommend this hotel

The window ceiling wasn't working properly and one bed sheet for a double bed was a bit weird but despite that we ha d a really good time. It was small, but cosy and at a good place, it was exactly what we were looking forward to.

Publicite monsongere, on a reserve un chambre avec trois lits et on nous a donne une chambre avec un lit double et un matelas partere, ne parle ni l italien ni anglais,le sol degeulasse.

No es un hostal, es un alquiler de cuartos. Están muy limpios y renovados, grandes y bonitos, camas limpias y esta ubicado cerca de Roma Termini. NO HAY DESAYUNO, NO HAY NADIE EN LA NOCHE, y cuando hay en el día son personas de Pakistan o Bangladesh que ni siquiera saben hablar ingles ni italiano, son buenas personas y tienen buena actitud, pero la comunicación es muy difícil. El wifi no llega a todo el hotel. No hay lavadora ni cocineta. La primera noche no tenían nuestro cuarto y nos llevaron a otro hotel por lo que perdimos una mañana.

super położenie, czystość gorzej;
bdobre wyposażenie pokoju: suszarka, lodówka, telewizor, klima niestety nie działa, żelazko i otwieracz do butelek i wina dostępne po prośbie, niestety brak mozliwości zrobienia sobie kawy czy herbaty,jeśli zależy na dobrym położeniu to jest ok

A Casa di Penelope is nothing more and nothing less than what it it advertised to be: a place to spend the night while visiting Rome. The location is great - 5 minutes from the Rome central station, the room is clean (although I expected it to be bigger) and the staff is friendly (Thanks, Babu!). I expected it to be more cozy - there were no carpets or curtains, but all in all, it was allright.

Da prendere in considerazione per dormire e basta. Posizione favorevole. Il bed&breakfast è un'altra cosa! Problemi tecnici per i quali in proprietario ci è venuti incontro con un buono sconto....ma anche la professionalità è un'altra cosa!!!

the staff was not friendly and helpful plus they treated badly.. Even though it is a bed and breakfast hostel, be aware of they may not serve breakfast.

This hostel/apartment has an excellent location, which is just minutes walk away from Termini train station. It is surrounded with restaurants and only 10 minutes away from the supermarket. The staff, Babu, is extremely helpful and friendly. Never says no when you requested something and is ready to answer you questions anytime. My trip with my family was pleasant thanks to the hospitality of this place. Will definitely go again and recommend this place to other place.

Its is very close to the center of Rome and its pretty easy to get there by bus or tram.
So a good place to be for little money.
But its strange that the owner wants you to pay the deposit of 10% again. You also need to know that you have to pay 2€/person per day.

we never claim you to pay 10% deposit again.you just paid 32 euros that is rome city tax for four person.
we are always sincere about our well reputation.

posizione molto buona,si può arrivare a piedi fino alle principali attrazioni turistiche.assolutamente sconveniente il fatto di non poter pagare con carta di credito.No colazione inclusa!!!

I was in Casa di Penelope 4 days in July with my two friends.
Very, very nice place. White, comfortable, clean room with bathroom. It was good place for rest after busy day in hot, noisy, crowdy Rome. Super! Good idea with modern equipment in so old city.
Our landlord was really helpful and friendly for us. Thank you!
