The Mamre Cooperative Society is the agency administrator of Mamre Hostel. The cooperative, born in September 2005 is composed by young people, for the most, all animators grown up in the oratory and therefore expression of Don Bosco’s educative style. For this reason Mamre turns his attention and his services expecially to youth.
The House of Salesians, which hosts the Youth Hostel, was built in 1966. It always had an oratory and e Youth Centre, like a pastoral-engagement. With the passing of the years the house of salesians had different modernizations, the last one, the most important, in 2007. Mamre Hostel has four levels. 1. Services 2. Assembly halls 3. and 4. rooms.
The Hostel is immersed in greenness and has big external spaces for recreation, relax, and also for silence. Outdoor: football ground in asphalt, basketball ground, volleyball ground, five-a-side football ground in asphalt and grassy, skating ground, tennis ground, garden with a gazebo. Indoor: theatre-room, conference-room, audiovisual room, rooms for meetings, church.
