Domus Cavanis

This hostel is so worth it to stay. For me, the rate was like hostel but I feel like really in a hotel. I fully recommend to stay here. I think I will come here again next time.

Pulizia eccezionale, posizione ottima in quanto permette di usare pochissimo il vaporetto e colazione abbondante.

No hot water for showers in peak of morning, and it leaked so badly that the water started to leak into our room. Not to mention the hundreds of Mosquitos that had been squashed against the bedroom walls and not cleaned off. Good location though, if you don't plan on spending much, if any, time in the room!

Bell'hotel, buona l'accoglienza e soprattutto collocata in una perfetta posizione strategica.

Mucho cuidado en este hostal, la persona que hace la limpieza ha estando mirando lo que tenía en mi maleta, además, lo ha hecho fatal porque ha dejado todo abierto y fuera del sitio. No me ha quitado nada porque, creo que buscaba dinero, y no tenía ni dinero ni nada de mucho valor.

De verdad, tener mucho cuidado, no dejar nada de valor en la habitación, o dejar la maleta cerrada con candado. Hice la queja y han pasado de mi. Aconsejo a que nadie se quede en este hostal. Aconsejo también que hostelsclub, quite este hostal de su listado porque yo me fío de esta pagina web, pero creo que deben tener cuidado con lo que presentan en su web.

purtroppo non posso consigliarlo: noi avevamo la porta di ingresso rotta, il letto era disfatto (siamo arrivati circa alle 14...) e il bagno sporco, anche dopo la pulizia. Una tenda ci è rimasta in mano e l'altra finestra non si apriva perchè c'era l'armadio davanti! Per una stella non si pretende una reggia, ma almeno la pulizia...

Bardzo dobry hostel położony niemalże w samym centrum miasta- parę kroków od największych atrakcji turystycznych Wenecji. Czysty, cichy, obsługa bardzo uprzejma i komunikatywna. Bardzo dobre śniadania. Hostel godny uwagi, gorąco polecam.

l'ostello si appoggia ad un hotel che sta di fronte, cosìcchè la colazione continentale è molto ricca e ben servita. L'ostello è posizionato vicino la fermata Accademia quindi in una zona centrale.

La camera era pulita e ben riscaldata.

Lo consiglierei e i prezzi molto buoni.

aspetti negativi: ascensore rotto, nessuno nella hall del ostello che è in realtà una succursale dell'albergo di fronte, la mancanza di un portiere non da sicurezza

Ciao io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo passato due notti all'ostello Domus Cavanis...e siamo stati benissimo!! L'ostello è una sorta di depandance di un albergo a tre stelle situato davanti. Quindi ci sono i servizi di un albergo ma i costi di un ostello!! Il personale è stato molto gentile e la colazione è super abbondante!! Lo consiglio a tutti!! E di sicuro la prossima volta che tornerò a Venezia tornerò li ad alloggiare!!

Buona struttura, considerando il costo.

Le uniche pecche riscontrate sono state: la doccia con lo scarico otturato parzialmente e la finestra del bagno che dava su una facciata di un edificio (apparentemente non abitato), sprovvisto di tende o di una qualsiasi copertura per conservare l'intimità.

Tutto sommato, però, è una buona struttura in rapporto qualità/prezzo...ve lo consiglio se volete trascorrere pochi giorni e spendere poco!;)

Posizione perfetta, collegato ad ogni, o quasi, percorso delle varie linee di vaporetti.

We got upgraded to the Belle Arti three star hotel across the road which was lovely! But we are not actually sure what the Domus was like! I think they are run by the same people though so i expect it would be a good budget hotel. Its in a great spot right next to one of only three bridges which cross the Grande Canal and close to a bus boat stop, lots of resturaunts and a short walk to sites.

The Hostel is nothing special even if you can find tv and private toilet, but the location is really good, the breakfast quite interesting and It has been the cheapest thing for my wallet in the most expensive city in the world!

The hotel had a very friendly staff which made me more comfortable.Its neat and clean, breakfast is really good.Heating system was not impressive.

Stanze carine, molto vicino alla stazione traghetti provenienti da Fusina e di conseguenza molto comodo per chi viene in macchina e la lascia nel parcheggio.

The cleaning is not very good and the receptionist, when we arrived was a little unpacient and rude.

We stayed in a 3 people private bedroom with bathroom and was good. The sheets in the beds were clean, but we could find some hairs in the blankets (pretty disgusting). The mattresses were very good too. The location of the hostel is a bit far away from the Piazzale Roma (where the buses and taxis come from airport) but still close to some attractions, and you will have waterbus every 10 minutes.

The only problem I found was the doors in the room were really noisy. Venice can be pretty expensive, especially for food, but if you cross the "Accademia bridge", you'll find a nice/cheap snack bar with a good service!

I recommend this hostel!

Leuk, schoon, net hotelletje. Service en (redelijk) ontbijt aan de overkant in groter en luxer hotel Belle Air. Prachtige, rustige locatie vlakbij busboothaltes en Accademia.

Es una pensión viejilla que queda enfrente del hotel Belle Arti (el hotel que lleva el Domus Cavanis).

El edificio necesita reforma, pero teniendo en cuenta que la gran mayoria de los edificios de Venecia la necesitan, no es para tanto.

La habitación muy tranquila y bastante limpia, las camas bastante cómodas (un detalle de la de la limpieza que nos dejó un par de almohadas más después de ver que usamos los cojines del sofá para que la almohada quedara más gorda jeje.

El baño pequeño pero bien (en nuestro caso nada de eso de que tienes que entrar agachado o de lado ni nada) cabiamos 2 personas tranquilamente.

Eso sí, llevar adaptador de enchufe porque al menos a mi no me valian los aparatos de aqui sin el adaptador.

El desayuno muy muy simple, sólo estuvimos 2 noches pero sirvieron lo mismo asi que imagino que será siempre igual. El precio bueno, para lo que es me parece caro, pero es que los italianos exageran la calidad de todas las cosas asi que...

La situación muy buena, el puente de all'academia al lado, cruzandolo la piazza san marco queda a 5 minutos paseando tranquilo, y para ir a la estación o a rialto paran 2 lineas de vaporetto que te dejan en aprox. 10 minutos donde quieras.

Bastante contenta con la reserva que hicimos en general.

Y Venecia merece la pena para ir y perderse y callejear.

The rooms are very small.

Very small but colorful and clean room, with the amenities of Albergo Belle Arti across the way, breakfast, beautiful courtyard and relaxing veranda -- enjoyed our stay immensely.

Paradiso! Close to Zatterre taxi station and beautiful bridge and extra restaurant near it! Nice garden sn dofas before hotel's entrance, red caret :-) very, vert queit localisation at night! Primo!!!!

Problemi già eidenziati, ma non provveduto a sistemare. Letto matrimoniale con materassi separati. Male per una coppia in quasi luna di miele. Sciacquone rotto.

Per il resto tutto bene, buona prima colazione. Posto tranquillo. Posizione perfetta.

Alla sig.ra (con occhiali) dell'Hotel Belle Arti , sorrida un po di più, non sarebbe male......

Super Lage, nettes Personal, Frühstück für mediterrane Vehältnisse sehr gut. Sehr schönes Atrium/Garten im Haupthaus (Hotel Belle Arti). Sauberkeit könnte etwas verbessert werden (Staub, teilweise fleckige Bettwäsche)

Great location, 2 min. from the Academia vaporeto station and 10 min. from St Mark's Square. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Very friendly staff. Room with a bathroom clean and neat. A bit to small. Maid every morning cleanup room. Hotel to recommend.

Está muy bien situado y a un paso de todo. Las habitaciones están muy bien.

場所が駅から少し遠く、ベネチアはとても橋（階段）が多いので、スーツケースの移動が大変でした。ホテルは、朝食もおいしく、綺麗でした。

venice was beautiful. our room no. 112 was very nice, BUT unfortunately too cold, like a refridgerator. the bed was ok but the mattresses were bad, they did not keep together.

every morning we were happy with the breakfast, very good and very friendly staff

L'Hotel è carino e vicinissimo all'Accademia quindi facilmente raggiungibile e vicino al centro. Il prezzo è giusto (per i criteri veneziani di sicuro) e la colazione molto buona!!

Wir (eine kleine Familie a 3 Personen, Einzelzimmer mit Bad) haben das Hostel für zwei Nächte gebucht (Summe 200 Euro) waren mit dem Zimmer zufrieden, die Lage ist optimal, direkt an der Accademia-Brücke, das Frühstück lies allerdings zu wünschen übrig, trockene Brötchen, trockenes Müsli ... Aber ansonsten hat sich der Kurztripp auf jeden Fall gelohnt.
