There are 2 Riads Amlal run by the same owner. Since the one I had booked was closed for renovation they took me into the other much more exclusive one for the same price. It is a real private palazzo style, only the surroundings are rather ugly. Service + safety excellent. Very quiet, typical old Moroccon architecture + decoration. Have a mint tea + shisha on oriental sofas, Wifi available. Breakfast on request for 2 €. Phone the owner to fetch you from the station, you might have difficulties finding it. They also organize all kinds of trips for you. English + French spoken.

Riad modesto. Pulito e confortevole. Ma un pò troppo lontano dalla piazza centrale,per arrivarc bisogna camminare 15 minuti a piedi i tra le strade della medina. Inizialmente sembrava un punto a suo favore visto che si aveva la possibilità di percorrere punti della medina dove difficilmente incontri turisti ma dopo un paio di giorni è diventato snervante anche perchè a Marrakech incontri molta gente che vuole vendirti qualcosa a tutti i costi, c'è molto smog e in alcuni punti è difficile camminare per l'eccessivo traffico di motorini. tuttavia nel riad abbiamo passato dei piacevoli momenti grazie alla presenza di Alì,ragazzo berbero, con cui abbiamo scambiato delle chiacchierate sulla cultura del posto.

il riad è semplice ma carino. Pulito ed il personale è squisito, come la clientela che ho incontrato di giorno in giorno. consiglio!
