About us
Southern Laughter is part of Sir Cedrics Backpackers. The mission of the company is that we 'A fun place to be' where our hostels become destinations in themselves. Our hospitality is special and provides for all of our customer's needs.Over its 15 year history, Southern Laughter is one of the original backpacker hostel of Queenstown. The only place where both the inside and outside of the buildings are covered in jokes and comedy quotes.

Accommodation

Our rooms are made up of cozy 3, 4, 6 or 8 beds as well as 5, 6 and 8 person self contained units with kitchens. We also provide our comfortable private double and twin rooms.


Services and activities
We have 2 fully equipped common kitchens and 2 warm lounges with SKY big screen TV with decks and BBQ with awesome views
We also have guest laundries and a Ski storage room. We also offer book exchange, video library and 24hr wireless broadband internet. In January 2014 we will be introducing free WIFI for guests. We also have many other free offerings including: luggage storage and safe for valuables spa pool, soup in the evenings, popcorn, herbs when in season (grown on site),tea and coffee,

Surroundings
located in central Queenstown within quiet surroundings. We have plenty of off street parking and just a 2 minute walk to bars, supermarkets and shops.
